That tutorial was awesome 🎉🎉🎉💯💯💯💕💕🥰🥰. I'm just teaching myself to sew n don't know anything about draping but your explanation gives lots of hope for things to come God spare life health and strength 😊. Thank you very much n stay blessed. Continue to inspire 😊😊💯💕
I loved the video, but am curious as to how the skirt gets attached? I’m assuming it also gets attached to the band? Would I use the same method if I am attaching a circle skirt?
Great video. What would call the style of the polyester charmeuse dress (second from left)? This top is my favorite style but I’m having a hard time finding dresses like it. Thanks in advance!
@@allanpitil9885 Yes i wanna know that too because draping is not so difficult. I designed my own wedding dress but know i have no idea how to finish and sewing it. My wedding is in 4 weeks😬. On pinterest i saw a video about draping with pins but on a fabric below and than iron and sewing. Im hoping not to ruin the chiffon silk and making stains from bending with steam....😵
@@user-ic5xu4jh6z I wish you all the best. I am currently making bridesmaid dresses for my nephews wedding and really wanted to use the draping style but with lack of information i opted against it.
I’m not sure if this is a weird question or not but when you are pinning everything in place on the dress form, do you sew everything together on or off the form?
This just made it to me. I do glad. But girlfriend, did you hear me screaming "noooo" when you cut that first drapping LOL! I could see that feature in the very next dress I want to make. Thank you!
I just subscribed! So glad I found your channel. Very excited to try these techniques. Have a question completely unrelated to dressmaking- I was wondering where you purchased the metal buckets with the wooden handles on the table behind your dressforms? I have been trying to find some for quite some time. Thank you!
Holy Cow, you're awesome! Just a fantastic instructional video and just what many new to sewing need to know. You took the fear out of it for them. Beautiful work, great teacher!
Can someone explain to me how this works? doing the patterning on a doll like this, means that becomes the pattern??And if so, how is the transformation taking place from this fabric made up pattern to grading, marking and cutting the ultimate fabric? Please explain, I do not know sewing :( still learning
Amazing draped top from a rectangle of fabric! What great fun it must be to wear it.
You just gave me soooooo much hope...i think I can actually make something myself... thank you so much

U make such an excellent teacher,
That was inspiring. I want to go to my sewing room now and try it out!
I didn't went to school or trained, but I can design and create something. The type of fabric I like working with is a linen and silk.
Your tutorial is very easy and enjoyable to watch, just straight to the point and very informative.
Do you need to transfer this to pattern paper or can you sew it together straight after draping is complete?
I loved the video, but am curious as to how the skirt gets attached? I’m assuming it also gets attached to the band? Would I use the same method if I am attaching a circle skirt?
This is great information, and exactly what I was looking for. The visual has helped me so much. Thank You!!
Beautiful art of work
Please could you show us the next part? How we take the material of the dummy and sew it together? Thank you
I will add that to a future video
