Thanks, confirmed what I was going to do. That screw is very hard (for me) to release but I will give it another go. I was wondering if it was a reverse thread but that did not seem logical so I will try a bit more muscle with more confidence.
Great video. I need to change the sprocket on mine.
I personally hate the new stihl designs. Mines the older style with tank on left, chain on right side. The new ones like yours there are ass backwards!
Same here...they started making the good version again though lol
Thomas Johnson really?? When? I may buy another in that case! Where are you located ? I’m in NC..
Louisiana, yea they started back a few months ago
Michael Bachman The new design is JUNK! They have to cheap out everything these days. They save a buck and put out garbage-“If it ain’t broke DONT FIX IT!
There good saws that just do work and don't give much problems..
Yaw ever tried em with the skill saw blade? that's what we use we like em but some peaple dont
+Kody Thornton we don’t like them, they jump too bad.
I heard that yeah some peaple dont like em I know what u mean
Your my new favorite channel lol
The washers are for compression. They are bowed for that reason
Thanks for the video and keep up the great work. Not sure if you knew there are sprockets with two flat sides that lock on the shaft instead of spinning freely. The new design has the cutting side on the right and the old design was opposite. Hopefully you also know there are several pitches, gauges, lengths and materials of chains and different sized sprockets.
Thanks for watching!
