Alaskan Native Dance Celebration Vlog | 2024 |Juneau, Alaska

We have been working on our regalia for months and the time is finally here. We took the ferry to Juneau and spent four days dancing, singing, and spending time with family. Celebration is a large gathering of Alaskan Native dance groups from southeast Alaska and beyond. It is a place to share our love for our culture and to work towards healing.

Wonderful celebration that they put on in Alaska. Juno, Alaska is very beautiful.
I’ve lived in Anchorage, Alaska when I was 3 1/2 and that’s about as far as I got them when I was 5 1/2 move back Nevada, where I was born.
I’ve always loved Alaska.
Too cold for me and at the time to expensive for me. But otherwise I love it. It’s beautiful. I’ve seen some beautiful things in Alaska..

Thank you for the wonderful video. I recognized the picture of the dock at Kake Cannery! I have some great memories of my six summers in Kake. I am hoping to visit Kake next summer. By the way I have been watching the weather in Kake and it looks like a lot of rain in July!
