Don't let the haters get you down! There are plenty of us that like your videos! Thanks
I appreciate that
X2
Heck yeah, I'd hire howlin wolf to do any body work or paint.
I have a lot more respect for you using just basic tools than someone who has a shop full of professional tools. What you do takes skill and talent instead of having the tools do all the work. A lot of what you do is basically the same way I learned body work 50+ years ago. Keep listening to us "old timers" and you'll learn things that just aren't taught anymore.
Absolutely. I agree 👍. Most of what I know is from older men explaining to me the best and easiest ways to do a job.
Your a talented guy Hector thanks for putting yourself out there, and giving another person to learn from.
Thank you
Hector beyond blessed to have you do this work on our car❤❤.
You've accomplished so much in your lifetime,Look where you came from and how far you have come. Your drive, your determination. No one knows your story. You're Self made. You are so humble and always have a smile on your face. I appreciate the detail you are doing on Bertha. Much love to you.
Thank you so much. It's an honor. Comment almost made me cry. Thank you so much!
You sir ARE a professional, your education was far better then a lot of schools. ❤❤❤❤❤
Love your all metal body work! Keep on keeping on
Thanks, will do!
Lot of respect for you to take steps back when necessary. I personally think the honesty in your videos is what will lead to your success in the long run.
Thank you.
As always, a great video. As an old guy (81) who enjoys doing my own work, I have learned that you need to do it right, your work is your signature a true reflection of who you are. As my grandpa used to tell me, if yer gonna do a half ass job just don't do it.
Best to you and your family...
My grandpa said the same thing. Haha, thank you
I love the honesty that you put in your videos. Keep it up, you do a great job of explaining yourself.
I appreciate that!
Ok Listen Brother You Really don’t have to explain anything really your doing a KICK ASS JOB 💪🏻☮️👍✌️❤️
👍 thank you
I like how much you take pride in your work instead of just doing OK work.
I am 67 years old see a lot of body guys you are one of the best
It’s not the tool that achieves the results, but the knowledge behind the tool that makes it work.
Not many enjoy the sanding phase, but do it for the guaranteed end results without compromise.
Absolutely. Just gotta get threw it
Good work Hector. Like guys that make do with what they have. Fun to watch.
Hector your doing great keep on making great content your educational and entertaining 💯💯💯👍👍👍
It will definitely be worth the extra time you're putting into it once it is finished. Keep up the good work on both the vehicles and the videos, I really enjoy it.
Thank you
6:25 to 7:15ish .......... a humble professional using what tools you have, thank you hector
Thank you
Appreciate the video. Love to watch the progress of the job.
You do a great job with little equipment. I love it. It helped me fix my truck.thank you.
Awesome 👍. Thank you
Looks like your doing a great job, thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
🤙🤙👍🤟🤘😎
Good stuff, cars coming along nicely
I want to thank you for the lessons you are giving me. I'm retired and going to be starting to rebuild my 66 Chevy long bed. All original, won't be for long and your giving me the courage to just do it.
That is awesome. Love that body style. I had a 61 with a 63 hood that I loved.
That patch was welded by the one and only Ray Charles body shop
great as always great job and content
Looking forward to seeing how this one turns out Hector!!
Thanks for the great videos. I've enjoyed them. You have skills, not just good bodywork.
I appreciate that!
The thing about your channel is that anyone of us could scrape the money up to get a shade tree car shop and you help inspire us to do it on the low budget. As soon as the summers over I'll be getting things in order to do a tent shop down here in the Sonoran desert. Keep on inspiring, brother. You're way more relatable than that damn Robby Layton, 😂. But I do still enjoy watching him but I learn more on your channel.
Robby, whoo?? Lol, I'm just kidding.. I'm glad I'm inspiring more and more. That is the greatest compliment I could ever imagine ever. Thank you for sharing
Great job keep it up
Sometimes a repair just doesn't sit right, either with you or the panel. That panel looked good from where I'm sitting lol. Looks better now & you're happier. Any good car will tell you mistakes happen. Nice work on the dent repair on the fender. Car is coming along good. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you
What's amazing it still has cerb indicators on it looking good
Great job!
I like it. I like it a lot. Thanks for bringing us in and showing me how it's done, aka taking that extra step to make yourself like it too
Send it!
Your doing a good job bro 😎👍
We I love you're hard work and things you all do can wait to see it grow bro
Yes, thank you. Hopefully, we will continue to grow
There are no haters. Only hard workers and idiots. NEVER argue with an idiot they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience. Keep being yourself 😊😊😊
Thank you. It means a lot to us.
You’re a friggin perfectionist!! Can’t let it go can you? LOL
One of the many things I enjoy about this channel is that you show how a guy can do it without a this and a that and all the fancy tools in between. Your content is excellent stay after it.
Thank you
Love how you show us how do do the work using you brain to mak things look amazing
Thank you
8:26 bless you brother awesome
You can use fibreglass resin to thin your filler to make it a bit easier to spread
I've welded finders with wire and a cutting torch , used hammers and wood jacks , you use what you have to do the job poor boys with getter done attitude fill and sand and sand some more you know .God bless
God bless 👍
I have a 01 jeep grand Cherokee wj.you can do! Just needs new rocker panels and a new paint job!
Keep up the good work love watching your videos. The Impala is looking better every time I see it. God bless you and your family and friends
Thanks, you too!
It's too bad when folks look at it. That way, this is what it is we do real life t. V. I know if I'm being a smart a** or doing something that's like satire I'll straight up. Tell folks usually at the end. Anyway, keep your chin up. Thank you for the education. It's making me try things that I might not have before.
Awesome, thank you for this comment. I appreciate it
Got to love working on the old cars! BeBecause you have so much room to work! Not like the cars today that ar3 so tight you can't even get your hand inside the fender well without ripping yourself up!
Very true!
You're just letting people know what's going on and they're just taking it wrong. You know you're doing the best job you can. You're doing it with love in your heart. Because it's family, that's the most important thing your prescribers. Are you gonna get haters? You're gonna get downers. But I have faith in you. I think the work you do is awesome. Keep up the great work. Keep the love in your heart. Keep the job slowing because you are an artist. That's a fact. I enjoy watching your shows and what you can do. Don't get discouraged that's for fact
Thank you so much!
🌎⚒️💪🏽👀👏🏽👏🏽👌🏽Un saludo des Gran Canaria Héctor 👍🏽👍🏽🌍🙋🏽
Your channel is going to grow past your expectations. 👍👍 I like seeing curb feelers for some odd reason. Rolled my tractor and broke my back years ago so good for you to be back from that. We subscribers will enjoy seeing the businesses wise up and start giving you the Robby Leighton treatment. Best wishes
It's not easy with a broken back. It's nice to see somebody who feels my pain. Thank you for watching and sharing
Keep up the good work
Your doing a great job! Nice hat too! Everyone misses you at the track!
Thank you, man. I miss the track too
Sanding isn't my favorite thing but love the smell of all of it
I say that every time when I start the body filler. I've that smell.. 😄 👍

Curb feelers look good on the impalas
Blue tooth fender supports those aren't laying around now days
Hector, you are a craftsman man! You get results. I live here in the valley, in Palisade, and I will definitely bring my next project to you. Do you have an email you can share with me, and I’ll stay in touch. I drove a 63 Impala to Alaska in 1969, and it’s Great to see you work the metal. Let me know how to get in touch, and I will.
Thank you, i appreciate it. Our email is Howlinwolfgarage@gmail.com
Haters? Then come and show him, support him, supply and sponsor him. Show him your talents .?otherwords put your name and reputation out there. 🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻
👍
Always Love watching you do what ya can with what ya got. That's all I can do too, frig I'm doing it out of a tarp car port 😅 but I rebuild 2 front corner panels with a hammer breaking off bondo mud think of you the whole time 😂 "don't do this people" it's only to my bush buggy but now a grill fits right, for now 😅 but it sat forever like that cause I had no clue or faith I could do it, tell I seen what you an a few good guys around you doing it, just Start you'll figure it out, bash some fingers and find a better way to do it next time. Like on a real level, Brother, thank you. I'm better at metal work then I am filming me doing it, should just Start that too 😂🙌 ML&R
That is awesome 👍 thank you for sharing. These are my favorite comments motivating people to just get out and try it.
You’re doing a great job Hector. That’s the way I do it too. You have to use whatever is available to you the rest is skill and feel. Everyone’s a pro till you hand them a non preformed piece of metal. When I started all we had was a oxy/acetylene torch and brazing rods. And the metal we used was whatever we could scrounge up. 👍👍
I agree 👍 whatever is lying around is the only way I know.
I'm glad you redid the section on the side of the body behind the door. It was looking okay but something did not look right to me either just couldn't put my finger on it. It somehow looked still twisted or kind oe thick and thin in spots on the raised area where the trim goes. It looks much better now. It's more consistent and even along that section you redid. Well done sir.
Thank you
Haters should find another channel,,, Hector is the real deal!!!! Positive,,, helpful information,,,, thank you!!!!
I appreciate that!
keep on doing what your doing your doing good
4:07 it's like the movie car Christine you look at the car and say ok show me headlights come on song plays on the radio and she regenerates dents pop out lmao
Man, I wish..haha I love that movie, by the way!
I've used plenty of Dura Glass but I've never heard of Marglass, and like you, maybe more than you, I ABSOLUTELY HATE & DESPISE sanding.
1:44 dang look at the oil spot! séance it's family you should see the cause of it plus more video content ... may Jesus bless this family heirloom
Yes we will tackle some mechanical issues soon. I'm just trying to get in the primer stage first.
Your talents are unsurpassed Hector. F#$k the haters and you do shit without the proper tools. Let’s see that get beat? You bit off quite the project on that car.
Thank you. Yes, I did, but that's the only way to learn is just jump right in.
10:02 she is an internet car now worth about 30k.plus
We used Kitty Hairs
Mar-glass seal it so NO moisture can get in.
Like the work you do. I would like to know where you got that strong magnetic work Lamp you use for welding.?
It's a Mac tools light. To be honest, I'm not sure when or where I got it from. I've had it for years and years. Works great 👍
Thankyou, . I’m a retired mechanic and do a little bit from home. I’ve struggled with finding a decent compact work lamp with a GOOD magnet. 55 years in the trade, decent light is ESSENTIAL now days
Thanks for taking the time to answer.
Quick question, I've noticed that you blow air on your tacwelds, does that help with the metal warping? Thank you
Yes, I'm just trying to control some warping, and if you notice, I don't just Tack once I'll actually Tack 3 or 4 in a row. So when you do that, it generates a lot more heat. It's just a faster process. I don't do that all the time.
I don't like body work at all. I did it and it make my head hurts. My 1973 Landcruiser has that mud on it. I didn't do it. But i know there.
What kind of fiberglass do you use
Feather fill
ABSOLUTELY NO REASON TO APOLOGIZE...!!!!
Look, I'm old school and I'll the first to tell you that it is more satisfying to use the tools you have and upgrade as you go...
It's not as satisfying to have all the latest and state of the art tools...
Get the tools you need as needed and when youcan afford them...
I had a friend that had all the tools you could possibly have and rarely used them because he didn't know how to use them...
I get satisfaction upgrading slowly because i look at it as i worked hard and earned this new tool
I agree, thank you. That's how I feel. I will get some tools as I work for them and learn how to use them.
Hey can we buy merch and pick it up in GJ? Thanks
We only have our classic black howlin wolf shirts here. Online has more selection
Why do you blow air on the welds as you go?
Shrink and draw in a controlled manner. It’s easy to warp thin gauge metal.
Yep, I couldn't have said it better. Thank you
First
😂👍
Hello I just wish you would quit complaining about doing good work. Your name is the work you put into it if you feel you need to redo something that's great but it'll be cool to see you FILM IT. I think there's a lot of guys out there that don't have a shop similar to your situation you got to be creative on how you do something and the tools you got to come up with to do it it isn't a conventional name brand it's a strap to a wall someone holding a roper someone pushing down on something or someone pulling up on something. I mean let's face it even Robbie had to bring in somebody that can do what his machines can't do that he doesn't know how to do.
1/8" is max depth for areo filler such as hysol ea 960
Loving your channel and this impala series.
Awesome thank you
