Thank You Phil! We learn and practise together. I wonder that a MD2 (factory DLG) how can catch thermals. I am glad that you can practise this flights with an awesome BAMF DLG. You are very lucky! I think that the glider's trimmings is very important at flights too.
@@bracesport I am of the same opinion. I launch against the wind and when I find lift in the windward direction, when circling I always pull the elevator a little when turning to the windward direction so that the warm wind raises the glider.
Thank You Carl! I just try to use these sunny calm days for practising of flying, but the weather of your country reach to ours too. You are absolutely right! So I continue my new 1.5m DLG building too. ;) I wonder your new glider.
your thermal flying is getting better and better!

@@goldenfish77 I am going to try to fly in longer straight runs to look for thermal activity then get some camber dialled in!

@@goldenfish77 I think we are supposed to launch windward then floor down wind to find the thermals - that way the wind is to your back.
Lovely flights 😍 You're really finding them thermals now 👍 Very windy period for me, so I'm building instead 😁
