It's time to review a newish 3d printer! The Infimech TX, which is basically a rebranding of the flying bear S1. I was very impressed with a lot of the features on this printer, and disappointed in others. I do some comparisons to the Bambu Lab P1s, as that is the closest 3d printer I have in relation to this printer. I will provide links to the files I used to test the printer, as well as the filament used, and the printer itself if you want to get one for yourself! Links below may earn commissions. I just had mine delivered last week. HOLY HELL this printer is the next level. I admit I have lost touch with the latest in 3d printing since I recently having children. I had no idea that 3d printers could do this. Especially not a machine that costs the same as my Ender 3 did 5 years ago. After watching the self-calibration, I was confused because after the normal homing everything started vibrating in place. Little did I know it was running a modal analysis to identify resonant frequencies so it could account for them. The first layer went down twice as fast as my fully modded Ender 3 so that was nice then... all 9 of it's tails were let loose. It exploded! 10,000 mm/s^2 accelerations and 600mm/s print speeds were absolutely terrifying. My daughter jumped into my arms and about 1/2 way through the 14 minute Benchy she said, and I'm directly quoting a 5 year old, "I'm sweating just watching it."... So was I. This is the most perfect benchy I've ever printed. This thing is a wake up call to the 3d printing world for me. I can't wait for the aux fan and rest of the knick-knacks but this printer has safely landed as a forever machine until quantum mechanics enables a way to manipulate space-time itself. Until then, this machine is the next best thing.
I like it's open, I saw an MKS SKIPR mainboard. How easy is the maintenance of the hotend? I see a nozzle that you risk to brake something when it's needed to change.
Any update? A part for the enclosure which printer you suggest between the TX and the Bambu A1 for someone who want just print good and don’t want to work on the printer itself?
I have an Ender 3v2 running clipper. I've not been able to get it to print much faster than it did with Marlin. Thinking of upgrading. How much faster really is this than my E3v2?
Just got a K1SE, 350ish bucks. Get one. It’ll blow your mind. I’m cheap or I would’ve gotten the K1 Max. As such, I’ll enclose it, already put the cam in. Need to add the exhaust fan, filter, and probably vent it to the outside for some of the filaments I want to work with. It’s insanely fast and fully automatic. Truly, an incredible printer.
I haven’t run the 5m, but I’ve heard great things about it. This one (thetx) costs an extra $99 in shipping. If price is your main concern i would probably go with the 5m. The tx prints petg filament better than my other machines, so i primarily use the tx for petg now. I actually really enjoy the tx.
@@IdiotCraftMan the tx is closed and filtered and the 5m isn't and I think that printers without the filter are less safe to be near and I want the printer to be in my room where I have air cooling and maybe it can effect the prints so my main concern is if it is very necessary to have the enclosure and the filter. what do you think ? and I'll be ordering the tx from over sea and the 5m I can buy in my country so if it breaks maybe ill have a problem....
@@tolkner8852 realistically it depends on what material you’re planning on printing with. If you’re just planning on using regular PLA filament realistically either one of them should be fine if you’re printing anything that you need an enclosure for would 100% say go with the TXI have plenty of open bed slingers that operate with no real issues and I have the AC running and a fan going in my room 24/7 and it’s not a big deal with pla. But if you want to run anything else, even pet G or ASA I would completely recommend getting a printer with an enclosure. Also keep in mind that you can print an enclosure for the 5M. The TX also has a higher build volume than the 5m. Not sure if that matters to you or not.
The support is pretty solid and they told me that in mid July they get down from the 99$ not sure if it’s free then but as far is understood it will be (means for EU location but I’m pretty sure they do the same for US!)
If they get rid of the shipping for the US, this goes to the top of my recommendation list. Except for the lack of built in camera, and the long wait time, i kinda really dig this machine

Me like seeing a lot of B-roll of a printer printing during a review.
That’s fair. I’ve got some b roll coming shortly, may try to redo this a little more print centric. Thank you!
Great video!!!
Thank you!
So it's 299$ printer or it's 299$ printer+ 99$ shipping? Because when i put any address it says that shipping will be 99$
It’s $299 plus the $99 shipping. I mentioned the shipping cost as a detractor in the video

Hi, that seems a pritty 3d printer, but one things, i think calibrato could help to increase quality of print, but is a good base
Why do people say the tx is fully enclosed when it’s not?!? The top is open
It has a fold up hood thing that you can put over the top of it to make it “fully enclosed”
Another things, try to print all in one test printer
Seems this is a very good machine and you recognize it but still you are so much bond to Bamboo Lab hype so try to find excuses not to say it openly.
The grease off your hands touching all over the plate is your issue.
Eh, i alcohol wipe it after, and that seems to do the trick with this plate
