    You're a local lad! I've been waiting to come across a video like this! someone actually riding in Southwest London with our shitty pothole, rain, paint and manhole covered roads. I literally recognized everywhere you went and thought to myself "I was there yesterday lol".
    Is this MT-07 restricted or is it full power and did you go to infinity to get it? I'm 6ft6 with a 36" inseam and want this bike really bad but having sat on it the other day I am 90% sure I'll have to adjust the pegs... Great video by the way, I'll be subscribing!

    • @ShaunRider
      @ShaunRider  7 років тому

      Haha, see now that's exactly what I said to another vlogger when I saw his videos of him riding around in Brixton haha! Full power! I did indeed Infinity Clapham!
      Wow, I let someone sit on mine the other day and he did not like how low the seating position was at all.
      Thought about the MT09? I think the 07 looks like a winner and it's all the power I need.
      Thank you so much for the comment! RIDE SAFE... SOON. xD

    Love this mate been looking at these for a while, have been in Spain for over a year riding 125 mopeds but I’m 5.11 and 19stone so have come back to do full licence, I feel I’m too big for a 125 with gears so want to jump straight on this, did you have to get the mto7 restricted here ? Good thing about over there is lots of practice roads over there and a lot less traffic and sun :) I’m guessing the mto7 will treat u right if you don’t take the piss right, love the blog mate ride safe

    • @ShaunRider
      @ShaunRider  5 років тому

      Hello John. It's not restricted, I went for my full licence then got it.
      It's so much fun to ride man. So much power. You said you're 19 stone. The bike should still pull really good!
      I wish I could ride out there and enjoy the sights! All the best my friend!

      Groovy Ninja nice one buddy! What colour? It's the same for all of us in 1st and 2nd. What a lot of people on the MT07 Facebook group have done. Is put an R6 throttle tube on.. That makes it more smooth!

    Cool vid! I 'm thinking about getting an MT-125 this summer and then trading it in for an MT-07 later, just like you did. What do you think about the power on the 07? Are you looking forward to something more powerful? How long are you planning to keep it?

    • @ShaunRider
      @ShaunRider  7 років тому

      Oh, very nice! Good move! Have you passed your full test?
      It's monstrous compared to my good old 125 for sure. I absolutely LOVE the amount of torque on this.
      I honestly don't plan on upgrading. It has all the power someone like me needs.
      I'm only 5'6 too, so it's a good fit for me. I'll be keeping this for years to come!

    • @nabstaruk5765
      @nabstaruk5765 7 років тому

      Shaun I'm 5'6 and possibly looking at getting this bike. Did you have to get it lowered?

    • @ShaunRider
      @ShaunRider  7 років тому

      I'm also 5'6. I didn't realise the MT-125 seat position is actually a little higher than the 07, so it was nice getting on a bigger bike with a lower seat position. I'm absolutely fine on the 07, I can almost flatfoot.

    • @nabstaruk5765

    How did you get a full power mt-07 from a 125cc without staging through a A2 ?? I realized you never releases the clutch at red lights, don't u think it could damage it on a long term ? Nice vid anyways, and very nice mt-07 ! Black-Tech, the best :-p

    • @ShaunRider
      @ShaunRider  6 років тому

      Because I am at the age I can take full licence for full power.
      So put the bike in neutral at red lights?

    • @zee260575
      @zee260575 6 років тому

      Lucky you ! Despite my age and my 125cc past, I can't have full licence :-( I guess the law is slightly different in every EU country.
      Yeah, neutral at red light. I fucked up the release bearings of my Mini because I was always in first gear at red lights. Don't know if it apply to motorcycle though.

    • @ShaunRider

      Cheeta I would think it is. I jumped from a 125 to a 600. It will obviously take some getting used to but, it wasn't as crazy as I thought it would be. Just more power with a smaller twist on the throttle.

    Get a GPS tracking alarm system... There you can set it in a fence mode or motion mode when it leaves the spot you parked is you will get an text message to your cellphone. Only way that gives you some chance to catch the bandits stealing shit. Easy install connected to ignition battery and you can hook it to a switch that will show when they remove the seat, and fairings. And get a good lock for it since London is a hot spot for motorcycle theft.

      Good to hear that! I do not know the Road Angel Bike Tracker but as long it has GPS GSM and sends you a text message asap it lets you know right away something is wrong. Because if it has only GPS you need to find out first that it is gone and until that they could have it disabled. I hope you took his right hand off for stealing your bike... shoot, I wish we could do that. Then theft would drop right away.

    • @ShaunRider
      @ShaunRider  7 років тому

      It does indeed. A txt whenever the bike is moved with the ignition off. Wouldn't that actually be great huh? The bike was parked in a tight corner with no ignition barrel, and damages. It looked like they had tried to wheelie it and failed. -.-

    • @onhawaii
      @onhawaii 7 років тому

      My will text me when it is moved out of area or even of the side stand and if it gets hit by and car too... got once a message: shock sensor alarm... but could not go right away and an hour later I found a scratch where a car door hit it. Damn haz mat license class. The alarm system comes with an remote and was like 30 bucks it is made for a car but fits a bike too... TK103 GPS Tracker. Get a prepaid sim card with pay by call and no monthly fee and you might need to put like 15 bucks on it every 6 months but get a provider with online account management, so you can check online how much you have on the card and refill the sim card. You can always check on your bike by sending an txt with code and request and you get a return txt. like at an general condition check it will answer with: location, ignition, battery and sensor status report. Ok since it is a bike with an car alarm you have no doors and it is your seat or fairing sensor that is activated... but you know who cares when it cost way less then a motorcycle alarm that offers the same features. And to wire it is easy too. The GPS GSM antenna needs some water protection like the unit it self to but an small plastic container that seals will do it. For me that does all i need. Ok I lost my under seat storage but better then losing the whole bike ;)

      Shaun Rider Don't do that cause as long as you pull the clutch all the way in and dont keep it on the friction zone it will be completley disengaged not wearing it out. When i took the msf course they said keep it in gear at stops encase someones about to rear end you can just move! ps. there is a reason no one has ever told you cause its not true!

    • @user-sw2lv3zp6o
      @user-sw2lv3zp6o 7 років тому +2

      Rubbish. It wears the clutch out. What benefit is there being rear-ended with your clutch lever in? This happened to me in London at a roundabout. The car behind rammed me, I dropped the clutch due to falling back, the bike reared up on its back wheel and fell on me crushing my rib cage.

    • @SnickertyCast
      @SnickertyCast 7 років тому

      I didn't take that offer because the MT-125's were selling for around 3,000 on Auto Trader etc.
      I kept going back to the store because I loved the look of the bike so much.
      I finally saw a guy that I knew when I was younger, and he said he would do a deal for me.
      In the end he got the trade in to 2,800 for me! :D
