- In this Quick Look I have an older Eduard kit, now released in Weekend Edition flavour. I've not seen this one before and it's an interesting subject, so let's see how it stacks up compared to newer Eduard offerings.

Lovely looking kit of a great aircraft. It;s only when you go to The Shuttleworth Collection in Bedfordshire that you realise what big machines these were.
I highly recommend the Shuttleworth engineering open day for anyone interested in vintage aircraft. They open up the workshops and you get a really close look at whatever they are working on. One of the ones earlier this year was an F2b and you are quite right, they are surprisingly hefty!
I was there a few years ago and having nose around the Lysander and one of the mechanics said 'You can touch it you know - we're not Duxford!'

I've got one of these part built waiting for my skill set to match my ambition. And the growth of an extra couple of hands to align the struts! The interior is fiddly but looks nice painted up. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with it. All the best for Crimbo and 2024.

I know its only very small thing, but i do like self-seal bags. I just bought my 1st ICM kit & even they use these bags now. Many manufacturers are up-ing their game, just little things. Great to see. Good review 👍
Sticky bags or zip-lock are my favourite - Tamiya stapled ones are my least favourite. It is indeed a small thing, but it's like box art I guess. It doesn't have to be good, but when it is the whole thing just feels nicer

Box Art , Packageing, well thought out instructions, good colour call-outs & some relevant History, all small things , but , yes , I guess it's a "feeling" of value for $.
CAD & CNC Machineing, have changed the game with New release Moulds, as to fit & flash. So these "little" things add up for me.

A very nice model. I have yet to build a biplane, or triplane for that matter, this one looks to be a smashing kit. One final observation, for a model builder you have some very clean and attractive hands 😂
Seriously, I see some nasty fingers on most model channels and mine too are in a rough state after decades of model building and manual labor. Just an observation, Jim
