Your box pot is cool, but this is what I’ve been waiting for. I hate lugging my Dutch oven to camp. This seems like a much lighter and more versatile solution!
@@fireboxstove Hi , when will the box pot and cast iron grill/ oven box be available on your website please ? I've subscribed to your email news letter...
Great job! Steve, I've been waiting for this video. I can see people coming up with all kinds of ideas to create and cook their own recipes. Wow! it is such a simple, but smart approach to developing quality cookware that will last and serve its purpose ' +'. I've seen your previous pre-product introduction 'camp get-together' video of the 'Firebox 5-way Cast Iron' Bushcraft Cookware. I showed my wife the video and she was moved by the simplicity of its operation, but I noted there is more to come. She gently smiled. Keep up the great work, buddy.
awesome video! looking forward to getting the cast iron set, so many possibilities with that. Love watching Maggie grow up, she seems to have less energy in the snow lol.
Looking forward to the 5 way . Thanks Steve for always being innovative and expanding the Firebox Stove product line . I'm a longtime customer and supporter of such fine products.
Always a great outdoor, the all weather, all terrain,Steve and companionship, the beautiful Utah landscapes, keep it up brother, always enjoying your relaxing content , blessings,,,and great food, despite the weather!!
Great video ! Beautiful & well behaved dogs & goat 😊. We’re really looking forward to getting this cast iron set. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures.
I'm in awe and jealous, the cast iron accessories are simply brilliant, opens up so many options for extra cooking, endless possibilities, love the concept and idea and to be able to grill that steak like that, awesome, really love it. Your wee dog is adorable keeping warm in the sleeping bag but inching out for some steak😅. Seriously very good, great vid, many thanks.

As always, love watching your videos. The new puppy is getting so big! And the backpack looks amazing, glad I ordered one. Now I am ready for that 5-way cast iron set. That will also work well in our smoker I should think.
I don't think you could do anything better with that steak! Hats off to the farmer, the butcher and the cook! As far as the new 5-way, I can hardly wait to get mine! There is only one thing that I see that I would prefer different than what you had in your setup. And that is, the spatula. For cast Iron, which I use every day, I prefer a spatula with a sharp metal edge so my crispy stays with my chicken, potatoes etc... make a stainless steal spatula head to fit or a takedown one that is all stainless and I will definitely buy at least 2!
Steve, you did a beautiful job with that ribeye! That is the way to make people hungry and also try to do the same thing. I like how you let the cold air act as your refrigerator for your leftovers. You are the hashbrown king! I need to take another shot at them. I think I need to dry off the potatoes and get the oil hotter than what I did in the past. Great video, brother!

You're turning into a Canadian! Steak flavored hash browns = poutine 🤣 That's not entirely accurate of course, poutine is actually french fries with beef-based gravy and cheese curds. Quite tasty and probably a wonderful backcountry meal :) I'm looking forward to your 5-way cookware, even if it ends up being too heavy for backpacking, it will be great for car and group camping. I just hope that you you launch the campaign when I can afford to back it!
Lol! I'll take that as a compliment 👍😎 We are thinking we'll try to launch the campaign early January after all the excitement of Christmas and New Year's has passed 👍😎

Beautiful setting and love, just LOVE your videos. May I ask…. what happened to Levi? Maybe I missed it in a video. I just purchased the 5 way on your kickstarted and can’t wait to try it!! Also what kind of dog ‘s are Juni and Maggie?
As usual, I found this to be a relaxing video Steve, one in which your interaction with your pets elicited some smiles. I think you are close to a generation younger than I am; and, it heartens me to see that at least some folks still understand that gentle guidance and discipline during their youth yields more healthy and wholesome beings as adults. That's true for children as well as domestic animals, and your videos provide ample examples! On a selfish note: I do appreciate the videos a bit more when they feature additional hiking and campcraft in the content, even if you don't get around to fishing (or hunting*). * Was the outing for pheasants the last of the genre? I understand that not everyone is a fan of hunting wild animals. Yet, if your videos have garnered any criticism for their ample helpings of animal protein, most often browned to perfection in your innovative products, I cannot recall a single example. Hunters, better than most, including avid fisherman, realize that animals die for our omnivorous lifestyle. Anyone who is not an all animal-products-eschewing vegan holds no platform from which to legitimately criticize hunters. Indeed, for those anthropomorphizing souls who were overly influenced by Disney movies, I like to compare and contrast the free-living lives of game animals, and their endings, to those of domestic cattle and other livestock. Living free until a relatively quick end at the hands of a human, seems much preferable to my own anthropocentric viewpoint than either the life and death of domestic food animals, or the often gruesome and/or agonizing death dealt by nature through the agency of predators, disease or weather. I apologize to any who find my vague references distressing, but such are reality. Perhaps I brought up the subject as a result of how many times over the previous two days I encountered a livestock transport truck while I was traveling north through Oregon. With the exception of castration, performed bloodlessly with one of the most humane devices available at the time, the beef cattle that our family raised for personal consumption decades ago knew nothing but ample provisions and kindness until the day that the "lights went out" over a final pail of grain. Still, I personally would have chosen the life of any of the free-ranging larger game animals that I have harvested from the wild.
