My dentist says I can’t have the “ginga” tissue go up high enough to be hidden when I smile because it’ll make the implants fail. So he’s trying to make my finals with a visible space between the denture “gum tissue” and my natural gums. I know there are ways to create a saddle that allows for easy cleaning and perhaps prevents debris build up on or around the implants but my dentist doesn’t know how to do it. I know there’s new techniques that allow the all on X dentures to be kept in and not removed every six months for cleaning at the dentist- but he says he doesn’t do it that way. So I also have ongoing problems with access holes- where some dentists can fully cover them bcuz they are set permanently in. Could my dentist use some techniques to allow better coverage for the top front gingival area? Any advice? I started my all on four process Feb of 2018 and still haven’t received an acceptable set of teeth. He tells me aesthetics aren’t what matters- I have had teeth all this time and I should appreciate that…. Somehow he didn’t tell me that during the consultation where he sold me on the whole thing being very custom & designed together…. Sorry I’m ranting on the internet 🥸🫣
