I love your encouraging videos. I loved the last one you did about the controversy of the opening ceremony. And I really loved this video. I have always had a pantry. But my family has expanded and I have been trying to include enough for them as I prepare things. But I just never feel like I have enough. But when you were speaking in this video and you were talking about how the Lord was preparing you when you didn't know, I was reminded of the loaves of bread and the fish and how the disciples doubted. I build my pantry out of love for my family. I know the Lord will undertake if the need arises. There were many times in my childhood I remember my parents being worried because they didn't have enough money to make it through the week. But somehow the weekend always came and we always had plenty. I gave my parents a 50th anniversary party. We had over 100 people and I had only bought 20 pounds of potatoes. 20 pounds of potatoes does not even last through our family reunion line! There is no way 20 pounds of potatoes should have fed that many people. And I didn't even realize what I had done until it was over. But we had potatoes left over. I know that sounds minor, but it's just proof that the Lord will always provide. So thank you for the reminder!! Lord bless and keep you and your family.

Heather this was a powerful video for me. If I didn’t have my pantry I would go hungry. Prices are so high and I’m a 72 yr old widow. My son doesn’t live near me . And I’ve been building my pantry since 2020. Some months I can’t do anything. I was at a store that had there ground chuck on sale and I was saying to this sweet lady 78 it seems like it’s always on sale when I can’t afford it. She said I’m doing fine let me buy this ground chuck I said no I didn’t want you to do that, And she said I want to we hugged and I told her what a blessing this would be to me. I asked her name so I could pray for her. God has bless me many times. My front porch was falling in and a gentleman came by and had heard I needed a new one, that Saturday 8 trucks pulled up and 8 men from a church near me brought lumber and their labor. And they did it with a joyful heart. Praying for all in these times.❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻

When I started my pantry, I sat down and started a list of all the things we use, from food to health and beauty aids, to first aid, to lighting and fuel, to cleaners,to paper products, etc. The list goes on and on. I started pecking away at the list years ago, and it took a while to have 2 years worth of everything we use. But, when I open closet doors, and cabinet doors, and pantry doors, I smile. I thank God, and I am happy and at peace.

Heather everything you said on this video hit me so hard you had me in so many tears! I started prepping with you and Susan Sutton and Mrs Lori and others. My husband got diagnosed with endstage COPD and Lung Cancer and Covid was being talked about and I wanted to protect him so I learned what y’all taught me I had over 10,000 $ off food canned meat , butter all kinds of stuff too much to mention well we had to move to be close to our kids n grandkids and I had to rent a cold storage unit for all my canned food over 300 jars just for a little while and in that first month someone stole all my food I was so depressed and I kinda am trying to start over but it’s so hard when I’m gonna be 69 and have corpal tunnel and knee problems and digenerative disc disease on my neck . But you give me a lot of inspiration I just wanted to thank you! I love you and enjoyed watching you n your husband so sorry for your loss I can’t even imagine! It was a message for me for sure! I started keep a smallish pantry after hurricane rita when we found ourselves with almost nothing and no way to get anything. That pantry kept us going through Early COVID lockdowns, Getting COVID twice (teacher household we got it in the first wave), and getting hit by 2 hurricanes that year. You don't have to go huge. Go big enough to last say a month and it will see you through most of lifes smaller ups and downs. Recently I wrecked my back. Having a stockpile of stuff I can just heat in the microwave has been a God's send. I really can't be moving so much to really cook atm.
Edit: May I also add something that might be unpopular. Get a small sewing kit and learn to mend things. People don't need a new shirt if a button comes off or a new pair of pants because the hem tore. Learning to mend is better for the world and our wallets.

oh Gina, I am praying for complete healing and restoration for you......you are in that season of surrender. I have been there for the past 3 years and it can be so overwhelming. Depressing. Anxiety filled. But do not let those feelings overwhelm you. Give them to the Lord....He has you in this season for a reason. I promise you, it won't last forever. Right now, he needs you to rest. Heal. I took my season of surrender and used it to sit with Him, be in His Word, be still, allow my body to recover and heal. This season is a blessing.....when you are able to come back physically, it gets busy and hectic again because you will be doing so much! Usually we then neglect the quiet time.....we dont save space for it. And emotional and spiritual time is so important. So, try to look at this season as a blessing.....not a curse. I recently 2 days ago was able to shop my freezers and pantry's and be able to deliver 5 bags of groceries to one of my son's best friends in their early 20's. He and his girlfriend live out on their own and was struggling to have food to eat. Luckily my son caught wind of this and he just wanted to go buy a case of top Ramen. And I was like nope. Walk through all my spaces with me and shop for him. It was an amazing feeling to be able to do this. About 4 yrs ago I did the same thing with a young coworker in her early 20's also she was trying to provide for her and her 17 year old sister by her self. That day I made her come for dinner and shop also. She left with 3 bags of groceries ❤

This is so encouraging, Heather! Don't worry about repeating yourself... there are so many here, who are new... and your channel is growing all the time. As for those who've been with you for a while, your new perspective makes everything fresh, because you're coming from a different angle, and we have only retained a little of what we have heard... so hearing it again is good. Also, we have all changed and grown in the meantime, too, so we are hearing it differently! Yes, life is short, and and it's good to be prapared in advance, for any eventuallity, whether it's building our pantry faithfully, or building our faith-filled pantry. Our Father likes to see us doing the best we can, with what He has given us. Much love, hugs, and prayers for you and yours... Keep Going. ❤ 🫂 🙏 ✝️ 🦋

You are fitting in perfectly, right where God needs you. A breath of fresh air, hope, and love. You are proof that the pantry is such a crucial part of the home and a place we can provide through love and joy. A place we prepare for whatever unexpected events we may face in life. That is what I always say in my videos. I walked away from the fear to walk in victory through Jesus. He shall provide all my needs according to His riches in glory. I just need to do my part in filling those things in my home that my family would need if my husband or I were unable to provide during any given amount of time for any reason at all. Thank you for your precious spirit that shines through in your videos.

Our experience has shown us that water is not to be forgotten. Twice in the last two years, due to cold temps/snow, we have been without water for 3-5 days. Not only do you need to have drinking water, but you also need water to wash your hands and flush toilets. We are now prepared for this. My heart goes out to you and your family. I know it was a hard and trying time. But you learned first hand what it’s like to walk through the furnace with Jesus by your side. And nothing can shake your faith when you’ve walked that path. I'm gonna tell you what Heather, when you talk about being a different person now (and rightfully so), I absolutely love the Heather before, the Heather now, the Heather that literally rose from the ashes, not only do I absolutely love her, but I'm also in awe of her, of you. You never know what you're capable of until you're put in a position of survival. The amount of strength and courage that you've shown those babies has undoubtedly helped them to understand that there is always hope. On the opposite side of that, you've also shown that there are times of not feeling so strong, feelings of defeat, and it shows them that we're all human and it's ok to feel that way also. At the end of the day, you've shown not only them, but us too, that with the Lord by our side walking with us in strength, or behind us when we need support, or in front of us, guiding us when we feel like we've lost our way, anything and everything is possible through the grace of God. Y'all are living proof of that 🙌🙏❤️ This book sounds like what I need. I have a baby pantry 🤣 But really want to expand in a way that's understandable for me and not overly complicated. I will most definitely check it out!! Thank you for sharing!

Oh my gosh, my aunt and mom have this book (they live together). Of course as they were building up their household pantry, my family's house caught fire (we all made it out fine, pets included). Their pantry ended up providing for us. We only stayed for about 4 months. This happened just before the time of your journey through 2020. I used your vlogs as inspiration to stay strong through our trial. Your honesty and perseverance helped keep me from falling into a bad depression (and to keep on praying instead of throwing myself a pity party, a bad habit of mine lol). Lived on a budget 48 years ago and would put things back as I went through the store, keeping to my dollar allotment. Over time as our family grew, I tried to keep things on hand that were easy, quick and we liked to eat, always making from home, and rarely from outside the home. My Mom taught me how to cook and bake and kept the items needed in my small pantry. Then I started getting a backup for each item. Made it easier. Slowly expanded that to double back up, etc. Bought a commercial freezer and we keep that full. So now here I am, back to the two of us, but now the Grandchildren come, what a blessing. Back to stocking up what they like to eat also.
Just ordered the book. Yep, I want to see what I’m missing. We eat differently now, so need a fresh new look. Probably will pass it on to my son, he’s the prepper child of the bunch.
Thank you Heather. You’re Gods blessing to us. Love your videos❤️

The pantry was a godsend three years ago come October when a tree we were cutting down went rogue, knocked me off my feet and broke my left leg below the knee. I had to have surgery a week later to stabilize the bones with plate and screws. With my husband not wanting to leave me at home helpless and him having degenerative disc disease and chronic pain himself, the food and supplies we had stored were invaluable. Prepping is for our own personal SHTF situations, not just "doomsday" and you and I know that all too well, my sister. God bless you and your family. ~Cynthia

YES! I thank Jesus often for that, especially when I imagine the possibilities. The tree actually grazed the top of my head, came down on my right shoulder, pushing me down and then backwards. The two bones broke clean across, and oddly enough, I did not even pull a muscle. Like you, I had been working on getting into better shape and overall health when it happened. it could have been so, so much worse, might not be here at all. So happy I am here for my husband, and that you are still with us as well! I'm so happy to still be able to see your smiling face and know your children still have their mom! 😘 ~Cyn

Oh Heather, it's been a journey for me this summer! I didn't plant a garden because my body isn't as able as it was before the fractured pelvis 16 months ago. We are also not eating the same diet as we did before my son's health issues for the last year. This summer I'm eating out of my freezer and pantry as I didn't have a paycheck this summer. I know that between 2016 and now, my "stash" has become more important every month. The twins and I went and collected peaches at the orchard, and I canned peaches for them to use in lunches for work. I saved the peach juice, and need to cook up a batch of jelly soon to use it. Having a stockpile of the things you really need for your family at a stressful time is so important.

I started watching your videos with my three daughters and daughters in law. I am a Mennonite and my husband is Amish. We have four kids and a daughter in law. My mennonite dad and English mom had to add a very big food pantry into our home for nine kids and two adults. We grew our only fruit and vegetables and fruit trees and we raised chickens and turkeys and goose and Swans and ducks and milking cows and pigs and goats and more different farms animals. Use four girls and our mennonite grandma and English grandma would start canning in July and August and September from the spring fruit and vegetables and we would start canned the fall vegetables and fruit. Now I can make my family fruit and vegetables from our small garden.

What a blessing that Pantry was to you and your family, Thank You Jesus, I know that took a lot of worry and stress off of you ❤️💕🙏🏼
Because of you, literally, directly because of you and your channel, my pantry is fully stocked too…. You taught me everything about canning and safely storing food! ❤️💕🙏🏼
And 2 1/2 years ago, in the winter of 2022 my husband fell on the ice at work, and did terrible damage to his left shoulder… they called an ambulance and Holy cow…. What they told us at the hospital shocked me… not only was he going to need a total shoulder replacement… but his neck needed surgery too…
The Dr told us, this is about the worst injury that you can have to the shoulder/neck… made worse that my husband was 62 at the time, now he’s 64 and I’m 10 years younger at 54….
We were told that he’d be off of work for one year at 60% pay…. My heart sunk… I said “Lord Jesus, please help us”… I was so afraid! But I gave it all to The Lord! We only had $ 5,000 in the safe, and that was it…
But guess what… we wanted for nothing. For one entire year, my pantry saw us through!! I cooked like absolute normal, my husband ate healthy so he could heal and he ate well!!
No lie, without your channel, we would of lost it all! At 60% pay we were able to make bills, we had our own eggs from the chickens…. We had to butcher 7 during that time, and Lord knows I cried like a baby… I was heart broken… but that stocked our freezer for the winter!!
While making that chicken soup the first time, I couldn’t eat it, I was so sad about my chickens 💔💔 but the Lord provided us with food and I was thankful… even if it hurt my heart (I love my chickens so much, normally we don’t butcher them)…
Anyways. Beautiful Pantry Heather! Thank you for beings such a lovely friend to us all. You are a true blessing ❤️💕🙏🏼
