I am learning so much please please don't stop this series too early
The combo that Eric shows at the end and the time it took for him to see it, is crazy.
It's almost like he has spent a lot of hours playing and studying chess.
@@pavlos712people are so insecure about their intelligence…always need to reduce GMs’ talent down to “a lot of hours.”
These GM's are crazy.
48:47 when Eric said no more talking and put his fingers on his temple - I had a feeling buddy Chilly was in for a ride.
I’m excited for this speed run when it comes to my rating range (1500-1600). Great content!
We need more mouse slips. I constantly blunder, I mean, mouse slip like that in my games and need to learn how to make a comeback like that! Great stuff Eric! Keep it up.
When I just wanna chill and learn simultaneously I always check out the chessbrah channel. Yall got me through some hard times at this time last year, and I just wanna say thanks. Howdy from NC you bad mf's.
Sees 'yung virgin'
"You're among friends here"
What a final battle! That move Eric foreseen collapsing his position was something I could not see no matter how hard I tried!
Great stuff Eric. Learning soooo much. Thankyou!

"good game from youngvirgin"
Hey Eric, just started playing c6 every game thanks to you and your insightful videos! Love the way you ask things like, "What's the best move here?" Really instructive and I enjoy your antics bro! Cheers
1:00:25 "Good job, Yasser" omg lmao 😂
Awesome as always from the Chief, looking forward to more of this series.....thanks Eric 👍
That last tactic was absolutely nuts ❤
Good stuff. Great content. Love these speedruns
59:55 I believe many people hear Eric says that and found Ng4 thinking that they threaten mate, attack the queen and also hangs mate in 1 all at the same time. Raise your hand if you’re guilty of this and let’s start that with me.
Another great video. As stated by folks in the comments, ridiculous catch on that final game combination.
Great videp!! Thanks!
I used to lose all my chess games before this opening. I still do, but I used to too
Thank you for that explination at 1:04:30. Insane variation
Awesome series!
That analysis at the end was amazing! Its impressive that you saw but I hope that 1100 ALSO saw it! 10/10 work on this run! Caro forever!
5:32 incredible lesson thank you so much
The first none Aman speed run I like! Thx Eric
29:51 hahahah
hi eric/aman, potentially dumb question. i am ~1000 on lichess, and my feeling when i'm a pawn up is that it's not even really an advantage. i'm too bad at endgames for an extra pawn to matter like 90% of the time. part of the answer to that is obviously to practice endgames - which i am doing - but i feel like if i want to get a serious win chance out of the midgame i need to identify a tactic or something and win a piece
i've been playing c6 d5 exclusively as black and i have a decent time in the positions it yields but sometimes i feel like as white, playing the ruy lopez/other e5 openings, i have more opportunities to fish for tactics and try to yoink an exchange or a piece. do you think the "pawn grabby" nature of the caro is inherent to/inseparable from the opening? should i try something else?
Impressed by some of these 1100s.
Great channel, litle talk lots of play!
48:30 "We have seen a lot of players blunder this". -mouse slips :D
Thx for vidéo ❤
Hey! Been following your content for like 4 years or so. Anyways, I would LOVE to know what the opening song is. Also, not sure if there's any way I could look up your music or if you could cite your music for your VODS. Great content as always, my favorite chess UA-camr. Cheers
+2
@@Adalgg +2 What?
As a caro lover this series is fantastic.
What's the opening song?
Mouse slip bishop game was insane
LegendaryPred immediately following YoungVirgin is quite the cosmic joke
first i just watched aman, but eric is pretty chill too
good series
1:04:30 - It's the day when Eric outplayed himself!
If you may... what's your background music called?
"Maybe the 1100 would have seen it." - Eric Hansen, 2023
nice video there
48:29 Perfect moment
48:30 we see a lot of players blunder this LOLOL
lets goooooooooo c6!!!
This is great. Do it with White, too. Saragossa.
My Bishop gets longer...aha
I've noticed that this may work at lower level, but not 1800
Pooja!!!!
WHERE'S MY BURRITO! WHERE'S MY BURRITO! WHERE'S MY BURRITO! WHERE'S MY BURRITO!
Next episode*
Damn, if only the guy around 15 minutes realised he could sack his knight to cover the square the rook was trying to checkmate on, putting the rook onto the 5th rank, where the bishop covers g5, so the rook has to move back, while he attempts to create luft before he inevitably gets checkmated 😢
the only thing is that Eric isn't obligated to take with the rook, obviously he can't take with the knight because that hangs the rook with check, but he could just take the knight with the dark squared bishop and nothing has really changed for the better for white
Finally the unnecessary dramatic display of capturing has payed off at 48:45 with a mouse slip😂😂😂 its really boring moving prices in slomo and making a big deal about opponents blunder when u r playing 2000 elo lower rated players!!
Eric, with teeth like that, do you ever drink coffee?
Thanks for all of your great content Boys.
$100 Challenge: You VS Aman! Rules: Hand and Brain, 3/2 with Dill making the moves for each of you (rotate each game for 4 games total) I will donate $100 on thank you comment like this. 🙃
Oh and here’s 2 song recommendations for Twitch if you don’t already have them:
Marco Dassi - Be a light
M|O|O|N - Crystals
I'm in this range and everyone opening is some random stuff, not in these videos :'(
How can they play thats good? You are a good teacher Eric
Peruser the patzer
How do you always get the black pieces
Can anyone help me out with the chessbrah lore behind the name "PoojaFan"?
ooh i highly recommend going to the chessbrah videos page here on youtube, sorting by popularity, and watching their most viewed video. enjoy!
edit: to be clear, that video is where the Pooja lore comes from :)
Pooja was an Indian girl who cheated against Eric in the past 👍
Pooja was a player (with a woman's profile picture) who Eric faced in a rapid game. Played 100% engine moves and wasn't trying to hide it.
The lore essentially developed into: Pooja is the very best woman chess player out there, as a meme. So of course Eric is a Pooja fan
@@michaelf8221 Lmao thats amazing, thanks for the info
And there was me thinking Eric had begun to worship Lord Krishna 😂
Does he never get put as white?
HEHEHEHEH
