I saw him live twice earlier this year and it's such an experience! His voice seems to penetrate you, body and soul and, at times, is very emotional. His voice is one thing, and then you are completely awed by his stage presence and his energy. I have never seen a performer who gives his all, the way he does. He runs and jumps and dances and is so funny and sweet with his Dears. I would highly recommend going to see him and I cannot wait to go see him again! He is even more phenomenal live! Thank you for your reaction 😊🙏💖

I saw Dimash live in NY. The videos you watch on YT cannot prepare you. The experience is the MOST INCREDIBLE musical experience I have ever had. I had to remind myself to BREATHE. His high notes feel physically piercing and his low notes feel like they are rumbling in your chest. You can feel the vibrato oscillating in your body. I was on such a high coming out of that concert that it took me two weeks to feel like myself again. Lots of tears were involved as I sat at home in Ohio and rewatched video footage on YT. I walked away from NY with the conclusion that there is no recording equipment in existence that can capture his voice properly. I CAN'T WAIT until he does another concert in the USA so I can do it all over again.
BTW... The videos you have watched of Dimash are all performances that are older. His voice has improved, his range has expanded and he is still currently developing his voice even further. If you want to hear him more recently, try "Stranger", "El Amor En Ti" or his masterpiece "Story of One Sky"... MV first and then LIVE (Available in Part 3 of his Stranger concert in Almaty... Starting around the 24:00 mark). (Dimash composed The Story of One Sky, coordinated on the lyrics and production, wrote the screenplay and acted in the MV.)
Dimash sings in 15 different languages, plays multiple instruments, acts, directs, writes, dances.. his productions are off the charts just like his concerts. On top of being a gracious, humble, patriotic man that gives credit to his success to his parents and teachers... he's got a great love for his Dears (what he calls his fans) wrapped in heart that is humanitarian in nature and will fight for world peace. You have barely seen the tip of the iceberg and this one goes deeper and wider than you've ever seen before. It's a beautiful exciting journey to unwrap the gift that is Dimash. ❤ It is a journey I started over 6 years ago and that man STILL continuously surprises me. Enjoy the journey, but buckle up because Dimash is driving! 😂 I'll be watching.

I have been to his concert in Antalia. I must say that from what i saw online and experienced myself, atmosphere on his concerts seems to be always very electrifying, warm and friendly. People come from all parts of the world to hear Dimash live.
Amazing thig is that Dimash live sounds almost exactly the same as on youtube, if not better. And before people say "oh, it must been recorded then", Dimash quite often put microphone away in the middle of the song or sing the last notes a capella. So there you go, he is just very talanted and been training his voice all his live. And this is the result.
If you ever have the opportunity to go see him live i would highly recommend to go, before he became so famous that we wouldn't be able to afford the tickets😊😊😊😊

Adagio is an italian word, that means "Slowly".
This is also used in music to define the pace of a music (a bit slow, between lento and andante) and also as a name of a piece of a sonata, concerto or symphony that is using that specific pace.
The music from this song of Lara Fabian is a pop translation of an italian classic piece called "Albinoni's Adagio". It was written in 1958 by Remo Giazotto who was an admirer of Albinoni, a musician from the 17th/18th century. He claimed it was from him and gave his music this name but there is consensus today that he most probably has composed it himself.
The classic music piece is globally famous and there were many different translations into different songs, with different music compositions, mostly operatic, and different lyrics (Daniele Licari, Sarah Brightman and Sissel Kyrkjebo for instance).
But the most famous version, by far, is Lara’s version: it was translated into a pop song for her, she wrote lyrics in italian then co-wrote the english lyrics for it and is the original performer of these 2 versions.
She kept the title Adagio and wrote a story with a double meaning: a woman that is awaiting to find her love / an artist that is awaiting the god of inspiration.
This song has become a classic and has been covered by many : Shirley Bassey (!!), Dimash (Lara is his absolute idol and he covered several of her songs), Floor Jansen, Polina Gagarina, Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Julie Anne San Jose, Giulia Falcone, Laura Bretan, Il Divo, Rimar, Vitas, Anastasia Luna, Evgenia Fanfara, , …
They made great covers but none of these match the amazing storytelling performance of Lara, or her ability to use vocal subtleties to be in sync with the music, exposed in her live from the concert From Lara with Love.
    ua-cam.com/video/bqoS-KOLV_4/v-deo.html
Her italian version is also amazing. A famous italian version:

Or you can check her recent excellent rendition in Paris early october 2022

Dimash is insanely gifted and insanely talented: TRUE. But he is also an insanely hard working singer
Adagio [aˈdaːdʒo] ("G" pronunced as in "judge") is the slow part of a musical composition. The idea of the song is that he keeps waiting and hoping while everything seems to go slowly as in an adagio played on a piano.

Yes Dimash is an absolute fan of Lara since he is 8 yo and he covered several of her songs: Adagio, Mademoiselle Hyde, Love of Tired Swans, Know (Ascolta la voce in her original version).
She also wrote the lyrics of his song Your Love. They also sang Ti Amo Cosi together.
She is a big inspiration in the way he sings and performs, he learned so much from her.
