I think this is one of his most passionate performances. The other is "Daybreak" from the Bastau concert. (But you MUST know the story behind it before you watch it or you won't get the full effect. You can find it on Gloria Wu's UA-cam channel. It is with the version he did for the Singer competition when he was losing his voice. I would say when you react to it to watch both versions. The Singer version first to see that Dimash under the weather is still better than most people at their best and then the Bastau version to see how amazing he is when he is at his best.)

His mother is a world-class opera singer, and his father is also a well-known singer. He was raised by his grandparents, which is customary in his home country of Kazakhstan. He appears in front of crowds of hundreds of thousands of people and is known to give the proceeds to charity. He is a very humble and shy man. He stands at 6 ft. 3 1/2" tall and weighs 200 pounds.
