Adagio is a musical direction to play a piece in slow time, which is exactly how he is playing the piano introduction to the song. By the way Dimash's name Kudaibergen means Gift from God in Kazakh and he truly is just that, his goal in life is to promote world peace and love through his music. All the songs he sings have deep meaning, he wrote War and Peace to highlight his passion to bring nations together with love and peace. If you check out all the people that attended his concerts the nationalities number over 100 and all mix happily together, singing, dancing and enjoying the company of these strangers who became friends there. 4 Years ago I was affected much the same that you were in viewing this the first time; I have watched it so many times, but i still get emotional each and every time; no other singer I have ever seen moves me the way DIMASH can do. Is it any wonder that I am so addicted I need to hear him sing everyday. It's like God speaks to me through him and his heavenly voice, and I need it daily for my personal health and well being.
Same for me. I need to hear him every day. He is my medicine. ❤ In fact, I got my first COVID vaccination today, and when the fatigue hit me, I came here for a dose of Dimash to make me feel better. 😊 I really do believe his voice releases endorphins in his listeners! 🎶💪

This piece was then turned into a song by Lara Fabian, where the word Adagio is inserted in the lyrics in such a way it could mean slowly or it could be the name of the person (originally it would have been a man since Lara is a female).

I love your reactions. A Julliard opera singer reactor said that she felt his English diction was inferior. I didn't do it, but I felt like asking how good her Kazkh and Chinese diction was. According to Dimash’s contract, he was a “wild card” in “The Singer” competition, competing with popular Chinese singers with established fan bases. He was not allowed to win. (They changed that clause the next year.)

When Lara Fabian composed the lyrics to this pre-existing melody (often attributed to Albinoni, but not likely), she took creative license to reimagine Adagio as a lover’s name.
