    Just wanted to say thanks so much for this video. I was so upset when I painted my wall using tape and when I went to pull the tape off the paint came off with it. I did not want to paint anymore until I watched your video. I have now started painting today and done a good job thanks to you. So appreciate you taking time to explain how to hold and use the brush.

    White wall/white ceiling ! You'd hardly notice a mistake.Not as daunting as a coloured wall and white ceiling.

    What do you do if ceiling in house was stippled after the wall was painted and you want to repaint? Popcorn is in the way and not allowing me to make a straight line? I've seen some people make a small groove with a screwdriver around ceiling but then there's wall paint on ceiling so not sure if there's another way. Thankyou!!!

      Perhaps a more precise groove cut with a razor knife. It would be tedious, but would work.

    So your peeling the Chalk off as well wit the tape ? I’m confused how would that make a straight line

    • @jerseyjim9092
      @jerseyjim9092 Рік тому +2

      the caulk is just to seal the edge of the tape to stop bleeding under the tape. When you pull the tape it should create a crisp line.

    Doubling backwards while your cutting in removes paint from your cut and can make it flash like crazy

    Use white caulking if one of the surfaces is white. Clear caulking from DAP makes the paint crack up after it dries.

    • @MMPRECISIONPAINTING
      @MMPRECISIONPAINTING  4 роки тому +2

      Yeah, clear is more susceptible to cracking than color. I normally don't have any issues if the cracks are small.

      @@MMPRECISIONPAINTING I I'm current testing other brands of clear caulking. Hope one can deliver us

    Why would you not mask the ceiling? Is this not easier?

    • @MMPRECISIONPAINTING
      @MMPRECISIONPAINTING  8 місяців тому +1

      Pretty tough masking overhead. Probably wouldn't be to bad for just one room. In fact, if that's the case I would go for it.
