Been using this set in the shop for about six months and I love em! Funny thing tho, I never noticed the wire cutters! Great stuff as usual, thanks again Tim!
Love that you give us real scenarios!!! Best review!
I have that set... and I love it. Worth every penny I invest in it!!!
Thanks Tim
If you ever notice compared to the Chinese Irwin’s the jaws on the Milwaukee’s are a lot better aligned and straight where a lot of the Chinese Irwin’s jaws are not I do love that the Milwaukee’s are made in Taiwan and not China
I couldn't figure out how to use them until I watched this. Thanks! I'm using the small long nose one as a handle for my shower/tub faucet. The plumber told me it would be $800 to replace the handle because American Standard no longer makes the handle I need. These make a very functional shower/tub handle and saved me a TON of money! Ha ha ha! So much for planned obsolescence :D
Once you get use to using vise grips their really the best tool in a toolbox they have so many uses
Nice review Tim, I was eye-balling this set a few months ago but were out of stock every where. Thanks for sharing
Ace Hardware sells Milwaukee tools I had bought some from there
I had bought some recently the ring instead of the regular thumb screw does make it a lot easier to adjust the pressure.
So they are basically a nice cross of a vice grip and a clamp. Which I like and think is done well.
Milwaukees pliers are made in Taiwan I think
Most underrated tool channel content is always A1
OK ok OK OK enough I want this ... probably I ll never gonna use it but I'm going to buy It now
I've used a few of the Milwaukee ViceGrip knock offs and they have all been spongy. Despite the "torque lock" they just don't grip as well as Vice Grips.
I would say they grip as well if not better than the Chinese Irwin’s but not the old USA made Irwin’s
@@corygriffiths4394 The general use bin at the shop has a mix of US and M.I.C. Irwin's but my personal kit is all US made clamps.
Why doesn’t anyone make a locking plier with a regular nut at the end? Just put a socket on there.
Some of them have Allen heads on them
Kobalt makes a set like that! You can tighten with a socket or with an allen wrench through a hole in the nut.
Berman from harbor freight has 1/4 drive end. They are actually pretty good.
I orginally thought just regular hand tools.. how could Milwaukee out do their own cordless tools.. well the hand tools ratchet wrench s socket s are very well made and worth the cost!
It makes a big difference whenever their made in Taiwan instead of China
5:48.. for locking pliers jaws there should be a little bit of play and that is engineered into the product for a reason... you get a better grip on metal
Nice!
Never knew they had a complete set... Thanks for the info 🗜️
Damn I wouldn’t have ever known 🧐
Are these made in Taiwan or China?
almost everything from milwaukee is made in chinna!!
Made in Taiwan per ua-cam.com/video/X8BDMF8KKlQ/v-deo.html
My Milwaukee locking pliers are made in Taiwan.
Gongmaw make them.
Taiwan
Where would you warranty the tool? Milwaukee processes is horrible. I couldn't even fill it out online
Sertlesmesi. Gercekten berbat 0.1 cm lik pir civi keserken yamuldu. Bir civi cikarmak istedim artik agzi duz

looks cheap ....
Their actually really good their just as good as the Chinese made Irwin’s if not better probably better
Nothing wrong with these "locking pliers" they are good jus like vise grips but "torque lock" is jus a gimmick. I work on commercial and industrial overhead doors and we all hold 1000 lb plus doors with vise grips dead weight when we back wind the springs without the need for "torque lock". Its jus an extra tool you need to have on you jus to vise grips. Its really not that hard and prolly jus faster to set them normally
There's a decent chance you might have a screwdriver or another pair of pliers with you to use it. Also, you don't *have* to use it. It's just and option. Maybe someone has arthritis developing or had surgery that they can't squeeze. Or maybe the situation calls for "delicate torquing". Just an option.
