Hot Rod Shock mounts!! Ford F1 Shock mounts twist and bend!

  • The #pomonapanel gets some gas shocks up front!! We ended up using some F1 pickup front shock arms and heated/bent them around to fit the panel truck front end.
    We'll show you how to do it! These work great on just about any application front or rear!
    The Pomona Panel is shaping up, we'll be cruising soon! Follow along and keep an eye on this build!! Thanks ya'll!!
    Panel Specs:
    1934 Ford Panel Truck
    1948 8BA flathead
    1936 Ford 3sp Trans
    1934 Ford rear banjo axle
    1932 Heavy Dago dropped axle
    Original panel truck body on 1934 Ford chassis with original column and dash.

    Dodge trucks to 1972 Were straight axle front suspension. The B series 48-53, C series 54-59 and D series 60-72 (also called sweptline) all use the same style shock mounts.
    Nice job bro! Look forward the the panel being on the road. We need to hit some miles next year together!

    I had to space mine out frome the frame on my F1 when I added the dropped axle because the drag link was hitting it. Never been happy with the drag link angle

      They make dropped drag link tie rods if you didn't know. They work pretty good, I had them on my '60, you might hit up Sid at Droppedaxles.com and he can fix you up with the correct stuff for your F1!

      @@chaddilacdesigns I have the dropped tie rods on the center link. I mean the one from the pitman arm on the steering box going to the driver side spindle
