Wow! It's so funny that you say that. I had looked up Anna Murphy because she wasn't with the band anymore and I saw that she was with Cellar Darling. I then went to UA-cam and wanted to hear them and decided on the song Avalanche. This was before I posted the video. I loved that song! Found this band last year, the first drop right before the chorus STILL gives me chills. LOVE them
Okay, probably dozens already told you, but:
- This is Anna Murphy, the previous singer.
- Funny that you mention the hurdy gurdy, since she played the hurdy gurdy before using her voice in the band.
- I'm pretty sure that isn't a banjo. Now, is it a bouzouki? A mandola? A mandolin? I'm not versed enough (yet) to know.
- Why is she surprised there's a female violinist? It's the same as in Rebirth! Lol.
- As for next song, since you already did both female singers and types of songs, I would advice to try one from the 2nd acoustic album. The 3 with videos are great, Epona, Lvgvs or Catvrix. Epona is more fast-paced, Lvgvs is more majestic and skilled and Catvrix sounds rougher, more primal, more tribal. Each song is a prayer to a different Gaulish god. Oh, and don't forget that the whole album is sung in (reconstructed) Gaulish language, which makes any of these 3 acoustic songs very, very interesting, in my opinion.
Also, if you're liking Folk Metal, you should try Folk Metal from different countries. Here some examples: Yarilo by Arkona (from Russia). Trollhammaren/Solsagan/Nedgång by Finntroll (from Finland, they mix Finnish humppa with extreme metal). Hajdútánc by Dalriada (from Hungary). Lone Wolf/My Sky by Tengger Cavalry (from China). Or Genies, Sorcerers and Mesopotamian Nights by Melechesh from Israel. Or 49 Theurgy Chains/Supreme Pain for the Tyrant by Chthonic (from Taiwan).
And let me be a bit patriotic and recommend few songs/metal bands from my country that are lit: Deiwos by Celtibeerian. De Bruma e Salitre by Mileth (from Galicia, Spain, which has its own culture and language). Los Llantos de Mi Almohada/A Capa y Espada by Fausto Taranto (technically not "Folk Metal", but it's metal with flamenco, which is Southern Spanish and Gypsy folk music).

Anna Murphy, Ivo (guitarist), and Merlin (drummer) are all now in Cellar Darling. They actually had to find two people to replace Anna because Anna sings and plays Hurdy Gurdy. They got a new female singer and a new female Hurdy Gurdy player. 😁😁😁
Most of Eluveitie's songs are actually sung by the male lead singer, Chrigel Glanzmann. Please react to Eluveitie - King!!!!! 😃😃😃
The song you have listened to, The lady who was singing, her name is Anna Murphy and she was the original female artist for Eluveitie. After 2016, she went with her new band with some of the members from Eluveitie and they called themselves Cellar Darling while Eluveitie replaced her with Nicole Ansperger.
As others have said, the singer (as well as drummer and guitarist) in this lineup have since left and formed Cellar Darling. The lineup of Eluvetie in "Rebirth" is the new Eluveitie lineup.
Kay's just taken in from the get go. Love it. Eluveitie is pure beauty in any of their incarnations.

This song was recorded in 5 different languages (English and 4 official languages of Switzerland). I think the best is Swiss-German version or "Schwitzerdütsch" as Swiss people say it. :)

I know you guys don't get to react to videos very often, but if you could in the future, check out some more Sabaton. They just released their new album, The Great War, yesterday and it's SO GOOD. I highly recommend "Seven Pillars of Wisdom", "82nd All the Way", and "The Attack of the Dead Men" from the album. REALLY GREAT STUFF.
I don't listen to a lot of this genre (celtic metal?) but it's okay for a mellow Saturday afternoon. 👍
It's occurred to me you haven't reacted to pirate metal yet. Running Wild formed in the 80s and is still touring, check out Riding The Storm (Live). Arguably the most popular pirate metal group is Alestorm, I'd suggest Fucked With An Anchor but maybe Drink would be better suited for Kay's innocent ears. 🤘🎶

Yes, the Cellar Darling is a great band 🙂. Highly recommend e g. their songs "Spell" and "Death". Their (Anna's) use of hurley gurdy with their songs makes the bands metal tunes very unique 🤗
Doppeldropper never call them a spin off or the band will hunt you down. The drummer (Merlin) was sacked and Anna and the Guitarist (Ivo) quit the band because of how Shitty the drummer treated.

The original line is incomparable, after all, Ivo Henzi, Anna Murphy and Merlin Sutter were forming the band for 10 years, all the awards obtained by Eluveitie and the fame that the band obtained at present is the result of this formation, 2006-2016 . The current formation, literally half of the band, have done their thing, but they still lack much.
Way to take away from Chrigel Glanzmann I mean he only wrote about 90% of all the music and lyrics of the Eluveitie.
