Why We Don't Teach Readings (yet!)
As mentioned in the introduction video to this series ( ua-cam.com/video/RKWrWRFyfYo/v-deo.html ), it is my philosophy that it is a WASTE OF TIME to learn the readings for each kanji in isolation. I explain WHY in that video.
To learn how to read kanji, I think it is best to learn WORDS that contain that kanji in the context of SENTENCES. We WILL be doing that in this series, after learning the meanings and writings for the 118 kanji in the JLPT N5 and Kanken 10 tests.
So fear not! You WILL be learning how to read them in the near future. 😊

I remember heaven with, "heaven is two people" and then remember someone I love.

My favorite game is trying to guess what the kanji means/what the part's name is based on it's looks and what andi says about it

In my opinion the story is not that necessary compared to just "grasping" a character, after watching alll of your kanji lessons in this series, first of all thanks a bunch! And second i noticed that kanji's history, "disassembely" and drawing it a couple of times did help me more then the story. IMO stories are best for kanji that are hard to remeber or easy to confuse with others, for example that story with 前 helped quite a bit. And when i learned myself after speeding through the series i started using short phrases and disassembeling the kanji, for example 後 was very easy to remember after thinking that 彳going 幺shortly(i think it means short thread or something) 夂late(r) someone is being behind them, and something like 右 is fing stupid and 左 is normal make it much easier to remember. Also for anyone that already speaks 2(or more) languages, using both languages can really help, because for example: 儿 with 宀 or 冖 or just something on top is easy to remember with some slavic languages as каракатица(karakatica) and adding u or wa before it, making it укаракатица(ukarakatica) or вакаракатица(wakarakatica) btw direct translation for каракатица is some sort of fish but is basically never used for that.
