These are actually some of our worst systems being EST all of the systems have a drill button but very rarely do we use it as it isn't accepted as a test so we can't use it for our monthly test if you were just doing an evacuation drill for the occupants it could be used though
My high school used drill mode for fire drills and the fire doors stayed open. One of the fire drills my junior year I knew it was a scheduled drill and not a false alarm when the fire doors were still open
@@nics-systems-electric the bell at 0:43 (with the white label on it) is actually an Edwards GS MB 10-24 bell. My school has those exact same bells and I just recently found about by reading the label on the bells. They sound similar to Mircom BL-10Bs though.
That's a nice system with the drill mode. Makes it easier for fire drills.

oh geeze those bells are dang loud like newer fire alarms
one thing I don't like about continuous is that it's sooo loud but cool anyway.

What brand is that system? Cool! Have fun! ...
Thanks. It was an EST 2 system
@@nics-systems-electric yea thats not EST2

@@nics-systems-electric an EST2 doesn't look like that whats the modal of it??
@@alexandersalarms5380 That’s because you never saw the EST2 I only activated the system from the annunciator
Cool
That’s GS and MB10-24 Bells
All Bells: MB10-24 exception 1 bell: GS Bell
Why do these Edwards sound like Notifiers?
Because they exact even the same sound
What bell is that at 0:43? I have those bells at my school.
Not sure about that one the rest are Edwards MB 10 - 24s

that's a easy drill button to hit
I already open the panel so unless you had a key it wouldn’t be that easy
@@nics-systems-electric I meant if you were operating the system and hit it
@@FireAlert ya true
And bells and system couldn't see
Bells are mainly Edwards MB 10-24’s and the panel is an EST 2
@@nics-systems-electric how about the 1 bell with a silver Center at 0:43 ?
