Some of the Horse Guards are deliberately part of the problem here by ignoring mismanagement of line rules by public. Look at them...they calmly comply with whatever the tourists do and ignore all interference into the white line box space!

They should spend the horse manure all along the outside of the white line! There is enough in both stall! That is so gross!

Why aren't the Horseguards telling them to stand away? OR not encouraging their horses to "nudge" over towards them? This is RIDICULOUS!

Paint the lines red and infill with diagonal red lines - white line are not a symbol of don't cross, whereas the colour red is close to universally meaning danger, stop, do not enter. Let the guards use the horses to push people out of the space. Actions speak louder than words.

My thoughts were similar - except using yellow diagonal stripes, same as the no stopping zones on our roads! People may respond to them !!??
