I remember having milk delivered in glass bottles and baked goods as well. I'd love for them to come back in fashion. Those WA homes are very fortunate
I grew up in that area A little town called Kirkland across the lake from Seattle .I will never forget seeing that milk box on the front porch next to the front door .and leaving gifts at Christmas in it for the milk man .The other thing i miss is hearing the music coming from the Ice cream man in the summer letting everyone know he was there and every kid running to it to get those Ice cream bars and cones
I was a milkman in the 50s and I delivered a lot more than milk and dairy products! Those lonely housewives got a few quarts of milk, some butter, cream and a good work out. It’s a shame that things have changed so much because those were great times before politicians ruined the United States with virtually unlimited immigration from third world, non-English speaking countries that we should have permanently shut the door on.
I had the same idea, grow my hair back out and get the cap, out here hustling ice cream in the good humor truck , $2 a pop and a joint for the old man. keeping history alive, all my guys know the ins and outs of a model A ford and how to tune a carb, dying breed!
My name is Zach Fiedler, I’m 26, at 6 I had a paper route for the Chicago tribune. at 21 my last customer passed away, no more lawns to mow or driveways to shovel. there’s $20 under the fire place you’ll never need it
He looks Old with back problems. Why can’t he hire younger people to do this job? He can even save cost by hiring the illegal immigrants willing to work for a Lower wage. 😅
Love the personal delivery that still exists in many rural areas of America.
The guy in the Boeing blue shirt is a really nice person.
We should bring this back
He has a wonderful attitude.
That is great

Totally awesome. We used to have Peninsula milk delivered here in Palo Alto, California when I was a kid in the 1960's and 70's.
This is wonderful.

I’ve been lucky enough to get Smith Bros milk delivery since I was a little kid. It’s not only the best milk but it’s great to support local farms.
That’s so cute 🥛
