I made this tonight. I stayed very close to the recipe, just adding some garlic, a little white wine for deglazing the pan after browning the chicken, and a little salt and a little sugar to the onions when they were cooking. The results were spectacular. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Definitely worth a try.

Try adding 2 to 4 bay leaves to the onions while you saute them.

I cooked this for dinner tonight but used the beef bouillon, it didn’t have that bold beef flavour but was still good. Next time I’ll use the beef stock as you mentioned. Thank you for another simple yet delicious recipe.

Everyone, I made this and it turned out amazing. I made a few changes, I used chicken broth instead of beef, and I added some bacon bits to it. You need to give this a try. 👍👍👍

Amazing recipe, made it today and it was so flavorful. Used homemade elk broth, go flour, smoked gouda, and fresh thyme as subs. Definitely a 10, so easy to make!!
