I think what people don't understand is FX barrels are FX barrels. All accuracy can be the same. It's your job to make sure the projectile you want to use matches barrel length and twist rate. After that, it's just what platform best suits your needs.
thanks brother. they really are amazing guns. keith and i are very anal about our accuracy and we shoot a lot. we could shoot any guns we want and it always comes out to be our fx guns for sure
Another great, thank you.... I couldn't help notice how much more the Double Disc target was being moved with the .25 than the .22, the extra stopping power must be evident. Please could you show the difference between the .22, .25 & .30, I have seen the difference in gel but this was very telling.
You made poor ol Norm sit out in the hot sun. lol. Great video. I have an M3 in both .22 and .30 and love them. I like the larger air capacity compared to the Panthera. Hope to get some of those magazines soon.
Both are dope rifles. When choosing which one people just need to consider their use case. My Panthera was amazing at the NRL22 event I just shot, beat out a lot of .22LRs. My Impact I've got more geared toward being a bench gun. If you intend on shooting PRS the Panthera is the obvious choice since that is what it was designed for.
Great shooting as always fellas. 👍🎯💯🛠️ Nice is that a wind mill your standing next to. I take it it's just for looks now. I don't see a sucker rod 🤔 you don't see to many windmills any more. There a good way to save on electricity that for sure. if the top gear head still there and works there worth 1500$- 3000$ for one believe or not just a fyi and it's kinda difficult to find repair parts for the gear head and not fun to change or replace part's . Iv rebuilt quite a few . I'm surprised I would think you put it to use i would make a mock well by the pound and use the windmill as the pump to fill the line to cattle troff it wouldn't be to hard to do then again I work in water pump 💦 have a great one till the next one 👍✌️🍻🎯💯
Nice shooting, and awesome guns! Here in Brasil 🇧🇷, they cost waayy too much (somewhere around 25-30 months of work if u get a minimum wage paycheck). Well, nice job with the Chanel! I already subscribed! Cheers 👍🏾
Now that I put a 700cc front bottle on the Panthera, I'm leaning more to team Panthera. Less than 2fps standard deviation and just a better feeling rifle.
A very informative video. What I’d like to see is for you to swap guns and shoot the same targets . That would help take the variability of each shooters skills into account. I think you have done that before. Your both excellent shooters at long rang and can shoot better than most of us will ever be able to to do, but watch you both shoot and talk to us about what your doing is very helpful . Many other doing target shooting videos just sit down and shoot and give no info on their dope or set up. Thanks gain for t Your efforts
My wife and I went out and shot my M3 and Her Mk2 yesterday for the first time. Love these rifles, Had crazy wind as well. Targets at 50, 75, and 100 yards. We were killing it, We even have the Nomad III so we could shoot for hours, filled the tanks 4 times. We live in Southern Utah.. Now to learn all the different settings and pressures.. 🤯 I am definitely happy with my M3
Great to have seller's sponsor for all your video's. It's not possible in our country (France). No shops in France and no manufacturers send test or demonstration products or make good price for their good customer. It's my third FX in the same retailer and when I ask a price for a Panthera... no way.
I don't think one is better than the other honestly. One is designed for one purpose and the other is designed for multiple purposes. If I had to chose one it would be the Impact and I don't even own either to be honest. The versatility of the Impact is why it is so popular IMHO. If I only planned on PRS I would still take the Impact simple out of it's practicality. On a different note...Why does FX only have bottle that fill to 230 Bar and not 300 Bar? Wouldnt it be better if you could have more air on board or does this have something to do with a more consistent regulator pressure output overall?
Hey Kieth and Norm what we want to see if a sub $400 challenge. See who can do better at lets say 100 yard bench-rest? Maybe field target either way would be super fun to watch 😁
Great to see you guys again out there having fun. I love my impacts but I was thinking of a panthera 25 cal 600mm. What are your thoughts? Also, have a question on the impact tensioning barrel. Had a problem with mine keep coming loose. How tight do you make it? Should I Loctite it?
keith loves his 25cal panthera man. i tighten my rear barrel screw first and then the front two barrel tention screws tight evenly. i think blue loctite wouldnt hurt buddy
curius that the Impact M3 scope cam was notably more stable, both for just general aiming/viewing AND when firing (a lot more stable visually during the firing). Anythoughts as to why this was? Shooter? Bipod set up? Rear stabilization?
Awesome as usual guys. I was with Mike a couple weeks ago and he told me he went to NY to hang with you guys. Looking forward to meeting you at the northeast airgun classic. Hey Keith off subject question. When you built your tank trap what length did you cut the 4x4's?

Great review fellas! These rifles are real competitors. One has 800mm and one 700mm. Curious to see a 800mm Panther shooting tho. It might make a difference between the two. From what I've seen and heard tho,the Panther will shoot slightly tighter groups with proper tuning. The impact seems to be very nice for shot count while the Panthera is great for prs shooting? Dude this is perfect timing. Ive been rolling this over in my head for a few weeks since my local shop got a couple Panthera's in. They're a couple bucks cheaper than an impact actually. I shoot a ton out of a vehicle for birds and ground squirrels, so I was looking to get away from my dreamline into something shorter, but I picked up the panthera and fell in love. It is the most balanced rifle I've ever held. I don't even have the money for an impact right now, but maybe one day I'll have one of everything. 😂 One can always dream right? My local shop says they won't be able to get impacts for quite a while because supposedly FX is working on a new gun and they're pausing impact production. True or no?
I mean, if you know FX, you'd know that the wildly effective engineering of the Pantera would lead to them to do something of that nature in an Impact form.
Norms tactacam image (from 2:44) was much more stable (sorry Norm) not sure if that was the Pantheras fault? but well done at 268 on flat targets as the slugs will be coming in like mortars
In a few words and for the knowledgeable air rifle experts not to go into statistics I think the Fx impact is better for hunting and the Fx panthera performs better in competition. that's my humble opinion
One thing I don't understand is why you don't say your opinions about the different airgun sizes in relation to the sizes of the people who will buy the different FX airguns. Why don't you state how tall you are when you mention the FX airguns??? For example, the Panthera fits a tall person with long underarms much better than the short Impactt fits a tall person with long underarms. Tell us more about how the airguns are to shoot with in relation to your height and long or short arms. There is a difference and we want you to tell us about your opinions. It is very unfortunate to buy an airgun that does not fit our size.
