In the 2022 season, BMW M Motorsport’s real-time video documentary ‘Mbedded’ continues to offer exclusive insights behind the scenes of the racing programme, accompany management in their roles, and give viewers a totally new perspective of the big decision-making processes. Episode 7 reveals the design and the exciting camouflage livery of the BMW M Hybrid V8, the prototype which will race in the 2023 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. Take a look behind the scenes of the design process and get to know Michael Scully, the BMW Group Designworks Global Automotive Director.

The headlights need to look a lot more aggressive and the point lights need to be replaced accordingly. Otherwise the car is beautiful and very sporty. Suitable for the races that the car is to drive. A corresponding street legal car would be perfect 😍🙏 More videos of this car please. I'm sure many of us would like to see the concept art as well. After all, you have three different variants. At least it looked ao in the video.
Edit: The corresponding street hypercar should have the exact same livery as this car 😍
Although, when I look at the thumbnail, I get goosebumps from this beauty even with these headlights 😍
Edit: I take everything back. I saw this BMW in all its glory in another video and it is just perfect, just the way it is. The paintwork can't be better 😍🤤

Basically, this is the grandchild of the V12 LMR. Kinda.
With a dtm-sourced v8, turbocharged & hybridized as its heart. Should sound good.

There is no need, with the introduction of LMDH
The M stand not for this. "M" stands for the first Reference all trough the Years in the Family-Mobility. Sometimes through the History since -New-Class-, to go in a Motorsport-Challenge..."WIN it" and then leave it.

aston, porsche and audi in f1 and n imca, there're bmw, acura, cadillac, ferrari, porsche, audi, toyota, peugeot, and in 24 there's lambo and bentley, ford, jag, dodge, merc aiming for lmdh later, whatta time to be alive!
Loved the format of this video, it's great to meet the people involved, their passion, their excitement. It also made me feel like I was there
This will be the car they race in Lmdh class next year, I think.

bmw is such a torn company at the moment. on one hand you got great sportscars and concepts we have been waiting for for ages, like the m3 touring, the m3 in general, m5 (the best looking bmw at the moment, no doubt) but then you also got things like the m suv or all the electric cars. I would never expect such monstrosities from BMW, especially when looking back just 20-30 years.

LMH and LMDH cars will run similar speeds

No. AMG One is road car only (no plans for racing version, maybe in the future). This is racing prototype, Le Mans Daytona h class with no road version.
