Another great video! Thanks for sharing. I did wonder how you got round sorting the TPMS valves when swapping wheels. Did you swap out the original TPMS valves into the white wheels when you fitted them? I'd like to have 2 sets of wheels for my Yaris, keeping the OEM wheels and tyres for the winter and a tasty set of gold 5 or 6 spokes with sticky Nankangs for the summer....! Cheers, Ross (GR Circuit Pack - In Scarlet Flare) 😊

The TPMS's came over from the stock wheels to the Motegi wheels, nice and easy through the tyre shop. When I ran the white ROTA's I ran them with out TPMS's. There was a amber light on the dash but other than that the car didn't mind it.

Mate, the oem stud is really short, how is the thread engagement? Is that why you are using the Japan racing lug nuts? The car looks fantastic btw.

The studs aren't the longest. I went to the Japan Racing lugs as the OEM ones have a different shaped seat compared to the OEM wheels so need to run different nuts.
The Japan Racing nuts need at least 7 turns of engagement to ensure proper torque and we measured over the 7 turns! I'm really loving the white on silver! But does mean the get dirty quickly!

No reprogramming needed with swapping tpms on other wheels ??

I move the pms's from the original wheels over so they all work the same!

They are louder than the PS4S. But not that bad. I use the car as a daily and hasn’t changed it too much for me.

How do they fair in the wet?

I’ve had these on a couple of cars. Perfectly fine in the wet. Can be sketchy in the snow as I found out a few years ago. But they are very much a summer tyre so to be expected.
