- Watch this video to see what challenges campe up, when I went up Northern Canada on my road trip and be better prepared then I was :) Unexpectedly I left Vancouver Island in July 2018 by ferry to the Far North because there was a sudden opening on the waiting list. While I slowly discovered the remote North, the endless lakes and its beauty, I kept on changing my plans. Watch to see where it took me and let me know in the comments, if you have any questions.

How did it go?
@@isabellejourneys it was incredible! I did pretty much the exact route you did, but I came up on the East side of BC to Yukon on Alaska highway all the way to Watson lake then Whitehorse and kluane. On the way back I did the route on Stewart/cassier highway (the way you came up) and bear glacier area is one of my favourite places in the world, I saw 3 grizzly bears there. Your video helped me so much!
@@isabellejourneys I did a road trip in Germany too before pandemic started and it was amazing!
@@galloots13 Great to hear that! It’s been so special up there. An unforgettable experience. Glad we share it now 😊
when did you visit ?
2019 :)
How much did all of this cost you?
Travelling in BC is not that expensive especially for Americans and Europeans because our dollar is not worth as much. I believe she took the inside passage ferry which is not cheap but everything else should be reasonable.
Northern BC is virtually untouched for tourism, at least not as much as it should be. It’s reasonably cheap for everything she did. The one thing I would’ve done would be to check out Haida Gwaii, it’s extremely beautiful there but it would’ve cost a couple extra pennies
@@sharroon7574 True! The ferry from Victoria Island to Prince Rupert is expensive but camping is reasonable.
@@brendanjames2687 If I could visit again, I will put that on my list. Thanks for the tip! :)
