Good review. Shows you everything. I bought a refurbished one from the company off of amazon for $55. I saved a few dollars. I had a big purchase with lots of stuff. I wanted it new but the other things I needed got in the way of my budget so I took advantage of the price cut. They only had a few refurbished models left.
So far so good with this vacuum. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx8ISPQRRAfpAaX4msGjyodObTBnlj4T5g I was a little concerned to find it seems to be all plastic, but the reviews were good, so I'm hoping for the best. Very easy to assemble Recommened, and only attachments I've used so far work well, and are easy to use. Doing a good job on the new carpet in my bedrooms and stairs. Works well on the hardwood on my main floor too. Reasonable weight and cord length. I already knew from an earlier review that it wouldn't fit under furniture, but I can use my Eufy for that, so no problem - the high traffic areas that need a stronger suction was really what I bought this for. If it continues as it's started, it will be a good buy and well worth the money. I have had two Shark Rocket stick vacs in the past that are super easy to use, but the motors just don't last well, even with scrupulous cleaning of the filters. I'm hoping for better with this Bissell.
Be careful they will get dirt and chunks of debris inside the motor. Will start making a high pitched whine. Just had to take mine completely apart. There are filters that are inside also that you can’t get to unless you disassemble it. Mine was six months old when I had this problem
I can’t thank you enough for this video I was able to put my vacuum together because of your great work thank you so much god bless you I really appreciate it
6:52...Not only is it best to do it outside, but also while wearing a dust mask. I also wear leaf blower's ear muffs when vacuuming to protect my hearing. The $30 investment is well worth not having to cup your ear in order to hear, by the time you reach retirement age.
We have a Hoover Windtunnel Series 12 Amp vacuum that is almost identical. Slightly different shape here and there but has the exact same design components and assembly. We've had it for about 8 years now and still on the original belt :-) We don't have dogs anymore so we probably vacuum once a month.
Yeah, this is replacing a bissell of a similar design. The only reason I’m replacing it is the old bissell foot pedal broke, otherwise it still sucks. This design is similar to the dyson. Seems like a great design.
Nice, but even if the belt doesn't break, it is still recommended to replace the belt once a year, no matter how often it is used. If not, it will stretch and will slip, causing the brushroll to slow down or even stop when pushing forward, which will result in loss of performance and if stretched and slipping bad enough, will produce the classic belt rubber burning smell.
Great video on this vaccum. It’s 10x times better than official videos (I was looking for cleaning vaccum tips and also crevice and other tools - watched your video on repeat couple times and now feel much confident in using this). Great job!
Whew! That did such a good job!! I like how detailed you got because usually people outside of vacuum UA-cam don’t know what they’re talking about hahahha! If you ever decide to make a vacuum channel I’ll be the first sub!
Yes, NEVER use the machine while the parts are wet, especially the filters and hose, as not only will dirt stick to it and mildew resulting in a very unpleasant smell, but if wet enough, water can be sucked into the motor, resulting in premature motor failure and even electric shock.
Vince, I SOLD vacuums for about a year. Different brands, so I can tell you the BEST brands and the worst ( from returns and feedback). Sorry to tell you that you didnt select the BEST BUT not the worst ( Eureka). The best are The ones that come to your house to sell them( Not allowed to say the name) but the one in the store thats the best is Hoover, they sorta tied with Kenmore( with Sears going out of business i dont know about now). Ask me what ID buy, an Oreck.
I’ve never tried an Oreck. We owned a Hoover and thought it was fine, then we inherited a $60 bagless Bissel and were blown away. I’ve tried our parents Kirby and wasn’t too impressed compared to the bissell. Also I’ve tried a friends Dyson and thought it was great but pricey. My Ridgid shopvac is awesome, but not convenient for house cleaning. Our $60 bissell still works, but the foot click got wonky after 5 years. So since the 9595 bissell had 13,000 reviews on amazon I figured I’d try it. I’m happy, it may not be the best, but at $80, it’s a pretty great value.
@@VinceRocca too true, good value. I was going by word of mouth. People would come in to buy a vacuum for their parents or kids and would always go on and on about how GOOD Hoovers were and I heard NOTHING but bad crap about Eurekas. I, of course was workung at a Sears so heard stuff about Kenmores. My mom had a kenmore that lasted about 30 years. But Kirbys ARE the best. My sister has our grandmothers Kirby that she purchased in 1950 something. She has had to have it upgraded once, not repaired, SHE went to the Kirby store and bought belts, bags, and a light bulb ir two. They managed to con her into extras like a buffer and a curtain attachment but even after she bought a house with an internal vacuum system, she STILL uses the good old kirby and uses it to vacuum her cars and truck. Thats my story and Im sticking to it😀
I'm surprised how much you know about vacuum cleaners most of time when a random person unbox one of these vacuum cleaners they don't know anything about it it look like a complete fool

I had just purchased one of these vacuum cleaners. I love mine. It picked up dirt, etc that my old one hadn't. Thank you for an informative video.

@@VinceRocca The little plastic clip for the cord at the top of the handle broke on ours but then again, Yoly is hard on equipment :-)
Ten bucks and you're back in business amzn.to/2H6Dx0V

I like that bissell vacuum
6:26 what are the names from left to right?
Hey Vince, We have that vacuum and love it. take care, Bruce
Awesome. It is a great vac and a great price.
Hmm hmm hmm ok loll
I had used this vacuum but if I turn it on for one second the entire bin fills up
Did you let the pieces dry to 100%. Cause I washed mine once and they didn't dry 100% and made the vacuum STINK like garbage it was awful!

I actually drowned vacuum in water once
Excellent evaluation
I have a question, why does it sound like a drone a little when you clean carpet
You should try out a dyson next cause I bet it will replace this one buy 5 to 10 years.😉🤫
and the dyson will be replaced 3 years after.. they aren’t as reliable anymore 😕
WOW!
