Can you go back and retry some foundations you hated with oily skin now that you're skin is normal/dry? I think it would be interesting to see how those wear on you now.
I have super sensitive oily skin, and I LOVE THIS! Especially with the butter bronzer and blush. I still get a little oil thoughout the day, but it doesn't down or feel cakey, and the biggest plus, NO BREAK OUTS!
I love how real you are in your videos, like the fact that you zoom in and show us the reality of cosmetics, like some influencers just want us to see them from afar so we think their skin is perfect and they look poreless but c'mon we all got pores and some of us got facial hair, theres nothing wrong with showing how human we are, thank you ❤
I have to say though the color you used really made your face glow even though you said it creasing which you can't really tell from the UA-cam video itself but I thought it looked really pretty on your skin

I actually LOVE this foundation, I just recently found it. It was a spontaneous buy, I love physicians formula and have had good luck with them, so when I seen the foundation I just grabbed it and hoped for the best, no research, didn’t read reviews, didn’t even know it existed until I seen it in store. I usually do research and look at reviews before I buy a foundation because of my dry sensitive skin. I’ve tried several high end and drug store foundations, they were okay, I usually use jouer or urban decay all nighter, they were my everyday until this one. It doesn’t crease on me (I do use setting powder though), the color matched perfect (I could never find my shade with other foundations), it didn’t feel heavy at all, no separation on my forehead which I always get, I only had to use one layer (just used concealer for certain areas because I do struggle with acne), I was so surprised at how well it worked. I’ve been trying for two years to find a good foundation for me, I think I finally found it. I also use their blush, bronzer, chapstick, argan oil, and 24 karat gold serum, I just really like their stuff and have had great outcomes with them!!
Creasing or no, this is the most beautiful I've ever seen a foundation look on anybody's skin ever! I know that accutane isn't for everyone, but kudos to you for jumping in and making a decision for yourself. It seems to be going really well and you look positively radiant

I've learned a ton from watching Stephanie Nicole, Caroline Hirons and Gothmista on UA-cam and, other than one small pimple in my chin that arrived today, I have clear skin. I thought it would never happen. I never had problematic skin so it really hit me hard. Being a divorced, single mom of teens and having more pimples than all three kids put together was not cool. Vitner's Daughter kick-started me skin and I feel it's on the road to recovery. Foundation is even starting to look much nicer. I remember Stephanie saying that if you have great skin, you can put dog shit on hit and it will look good but if you have bad skin, it doesn't matter how much you spend on makeup. It will still look bad. That was the turning point for me to change my diet and start caring for my skin like it was a full time job. It has paid off. My doctor told me I look younger now than I did a year ago...
I have probably 15 different types of SPF. I never wore it, even living in Phoenix, until I started this skin care journey. Now I never leave the house without SPF. My current fav is NIOD Survival 30. I add some Peter Thomas Roth SPF 30 that comes in oil to give it a little more moisture without losing the SPF rating. It's really a great base for makeup. I have a nursing degree and I knew nothing about my own body until UA-cam taught me. You can learn anything on UA-cam!
It’s rough on makeup to go through 15 hot flashes a day! Ugh. I thought I was finally done with those but, nope 😐 One thing I’ve done for a few years now that seemed to really help my skin is have a dedicated drying towel just for my face. Sounds dumb, but no hands or other faces touch my face towel and maybe it helps keep some bacteria off my face.

Sooo I set my foundation lightly and don’t like baking under the eyes, but I take a more precise brush and draw a line with my fit me loose powder where the creasing is (smile lines) let it sit and then wipe away. Works wonders! might help with the upper lip creasing. You look gorgeous btw
16 shades?!? I may actually try it! So excited to see Physician's Formula finally increase their shade range. I have dry skin and every foundation gets more and more matte as the day goes on for me- especially in the winter! I think my skin sucks up all the moisture it can get

Bought this on a whim and it looks freaking amazing on my normal skin, so radiant and natural. I'm praying they come out with a lighter shade because the current lightest shade on matches me with a tan.

I can't get over how amazing accutane is clearing you! I'm on day 113 of my course, pretty clear but I'm developing wrinkles now around my mouth and around my eyes, maybe because I'm dry skin versus oily, who knows! The foundation started out so promising but I don't think itd work for me, I'm enjoying the ordinary coverage foundation right now with my hangover primer 😊
How do you get away with not setting or powdering your under eyes after concealer? Mine always look so greasy and product will sit in the creases of my under eye. But when i powder it gets so dry and i lose coverage 🙄
same thing happens with me, have you tried mac pro longwear concealer? it dries matte and has barely any creasing. also try using as little powder as possible
Kirsten Nicole same 😔 however, you need to be drinking LOTS of water, as well as using proper moisturizers underneath your eyes! Once I started using a thicker (non-pore clogging) eye cream, the makeup underneath my eyes dramatically changed! The creasing was 80% improved as well as the patchy and incredibly dry under eye area. I was unfortunately born with deep set eyes, thin skin, and purple/dark under eyes! white_blood clipped_wings It can for some people, but I have acne prone skin and haven’t noticed increased breakouts from silicone. I would try and see how your skin does and then just stop if you do notice more breakouts. Worth a shot! 😀

It's hella unfortunate getting excited about a new foundation only to have all my hopes dashed when you do swatches and it's WAY darker than Dermacol or Fit Me (which are both too dark for me). But I think I'm gonna try the CYO. Also I feel like the wand approach to foundation is just begging germs to invade your foundation more easily. I'd definitely stick it on a palette first to keep the wand away from my skin.
sassylobsterhands I have the cyo. The lightest shade has a beige tone. I have to mix it with dermablend pigment drops, the lightest shade, Any other foundation I use to lighten, makes it oxidize one me. I've tried mixing with Urban Decay all nighter, Maybellene Fit Me matte and they oxidized.

Hey girl, have you tried Nivea Men's After Shave as primer? I have dried skin and I recently tried it out and I honestly have found a difference in my skin - it's smoother, softer, and FINALLY none of my foundations feel cakey or patchy.
Ameerah Muhammad I got the one for sensitive skin since I have sensitive skin and it hasn't broken me out AT ALL. For some reason it actually cleared up my skin so nicely, don't have a single pimple right now. I guess it works different for everybody, but it's a miracle for me
Sandy Nunez I would just be careful with it. I know some people who had skin issues from wearing it as a primer. To me it’s like when people were putting Milk of Magnesia on their skin. It ruined their skin after awhile.
I'm about two months post-accutane and i honestly can't wait for you to see results after finishing accutane!! I would also love to see some videos of how to deal with acne scars post-accutane, it's something that I've really been struggling with (sometimes the scarring looks just as bad as when i had acne). I would also love a video with some lighter coverage foundations because until finishing accutane I had been such a full coverage person, and now I want to experiment with some lighter, more natural looking foundations and I honestly have no idea where to start! Anyway, you look awesome! I absolutely love your videos they have helped me so much!!
I'm not sure if you used primer before this, but that may have helped + patting in the areas that may seem to crease up naturally, waiting for the foundation to dry, and then setting it w/ powder, and then a setting spray.

Bought this on a whim and it looks freaking amazing on my normal skin, so radiant and natural. I'm praying they come out with a lighter shade because the current lightest shade on matches me with a tan.

I can't get over how amazing accutane is clearing you! I'm on day 113 of my course, pretty clear but I'm developing wrinkles now around my mouth and around my eyes, maybe because I'm dry skin versus oily, who knows! The foundation started out so promising but I don't think itd work for me, I'm enjoying the ordinary coverage foundation right now with my hangover primer 😊
How do you get away with not setting or powdering your under eyes after concealer? Mine always look so greasy and product will sit in the creases of my under eye. But when i powder it gets so dry and i lose coverage 🙄
same thing happens with me, have you tried mac pro longwear concealer? it dries matte and has barely any creasing. also try using as little powder as possible
Kirsten Nicole same 😔 however, you need to be drinking LOTS of water, as well as using proper moisturizers underneath your eyes! Once I started using a thicker (non-pore clogging) eye cream, the makeup underneath my eyes dramatically changed! The creasing was 80% improved as well as the patchy and incredibly dry under eye area.
I was unfortunately born with deep set eyes, thin skin, and purple/dark under eyes!

Is there anything you can recommend Taylor to stop foundation creasing? I've recently noticed I get smile lines whatever I use and it looks awful
white_blood clipped_wings Do you use any smoothing or silicone primers? Those tend to help creasing more than regular primers

white_blood clipped_wings It can for some people, but I have acne prone skin and haven’t noticed increased breakouts from silicone. I would try and see how your skin does and then just stop if you do notice more breakouts. Worth a shot! 😀
silicone primers do nothing for me to stop creasing or minimize lines, still wear them just in case though lol
I have been looking forward to Foundation Friday ALL DAY!!! I think your skin looks incredible! Not a fan of the foundation, however. The creasing would drive me insane. But I love that you are so real with us and show what the make up really looks like without hiding behind filters and such!
Also I’d love to see you try the new AOA BB Cream from ShopMissA. I got it and I really like it but hearing your opinion would be cool. I think it has more coverage than a regular BB cream and it’s only $1.

It's hella unfortunate getting excited about a new foundation only to have all my hopes dashed when you do swatches and it's WAY darker than Dermacol or Fit Me (which are both too dark for me). But I think I'm gonna try the CYO.
Also I feel like the wand approach to foundation is just begging germs to invade your foundation more easily. I'd definitely stick it on a palette first to keep the wand away from my skin.

ya I tried this foundation and for me personally it oxidizes 2 shades and that really bummed me out 😣

sassylobsterhands I have the cyo. The lightest shade has a beige tone. I have to mix it with dermablend pigment drops, the lightest shade, Any other foundation I use to lighten, makes it oxidize one me. I've tried mixing with Urban Decay all nighter, Maybellene Fit Me matte and they oxidized.

Hey girl, have you tried Nivea Men's After Shave as primer? I have dried skin and I recently tried it out and I honestly have found a difference in my skin - it's smoother, softer, and FINALLY none of my foundations feel cakey or patchy.

Ameerah Muhammad I got the one for sensitive skin since I have sensitive skin and it hasn't broken me out AT ALL. For some reason it actually cleared up my skin so nicely, don't have a single pimple right now. I guess it works different for everybody, but it's a miracle for me
Sandy Nunez I would just be careful with it. I know some people who had skin issues from wearing it as a primer. To me it’s like when people were putting Milk of Magnesia on their skin. It ruined their skin after awhile.
That stuff might burn the heck out of her skin on accutane...

I'm about two months post-accutane and i honestly can't wait for you to see results after finishing accutane!! I would also love to see some videos of how to deal with acne scars post-accutane, it's something that I've really been struggling with (sometimes the scarring looks just as bad as when i had acne). I would also love a video with some lighter coverage foundations because until finishing accutane I had been such a full coverage person, and now I want to experiment with some lighter, more natural looking foundations and I honestly have no idea where to start!

I'm not sure if you used primer before this, but that may have helped + patting in the areas that may seem to crease up naturally, waiting for the foundation to dry, and then setting it w/ powder, and then a setting spray.
