- Welcome again to a new edition on my smokey Diesel channel... ;-D
Today we look at a EXTRA long edition of rebuilding Adrians Duncan beautyfull Jaskolka MK II 2.5.!! The name Jaskolka stands for " Swallow".
It was a major overhaul, and the engine was in pretty sad condition, whan Marcin,my good friend in Poland find it...But as it a pretty hard to get engine..we grab our chance!!
I had already one in my collection, and as Marcin Sadowy also earlyer found the Super Sokol for Adrian,I was sure,he will be very delighted to ad this one to his Gorsky engine range..and he was!!
I even learn new things,as a good friend of Marcin ,Maurisz, let me know ,even a 4.7cc version of the Jaskolka range exsist..named the " SOKOL" 5
Pretty powerfull...the BB reed valve type delivers from the 4,7 cc
a healthy 0,40 HP! Who knows, maybe one day..I get a chance to find one....
So I want to make a lovely very detailed video..but I could not ad al video material in to it,as it was a HUGE file!!! 1.5+GB !!!
My old PC was protesting a LOT..and I had to re do time after time after time......It was VERY frustrating! To make this video,it took more time than the rebuild it self..can you imagine that ??
But at the end,as always..I am VERY happy with the result...video as wel the rebuild job. ;-)
I hope you like it as wel.... Soon more stuff...but shorter videos.. as I told my self.....this, I wil not repeat....unless,I have a better PC !!
There are some smal editing mistakes in it...But I had to live with it.
I was afraid,it would never be ever done!
Smal UPDATE on the 1,5 "Kubus".
With big thanks to Marcin Skromak !! The CEZAS "Kubus" was designed by Stanislaw Grabowski. ( not Stanislav Gorsky) Mr. Kalina in his Chech engine book stated this engine as Stanislaw Gorski's engine. But the first name is the same, last name similar and it is easy to mix them up... But it is a Polish engine, after al..
Thanks Marcin Skromak for the update...as always..there are many errors even in books....
But together we get them fixed! ;-D
Here also the link to the lovely video, about the Polish pilots in the UK in WW 2 ..enjoy!
Wort watching!!
• Bloody foreigners. Unt...
Thanks for watching and al your kind words and support!!
It means a lot to me!

Greetings from Poland. Good job 👍
Many thanks my friend!!! Buzki do Polska! I hope to find more time for new videos..just to busy with engine work...as usual..
Best regards,
Peter
A wonderful video in so many ways. Sure the restoration of the engine is nice, but the video production, framing, lighting, and editing are all things that should be mentioned as well. Many people that simply WATCH videos do not understand the hard work that goes in to video production. Excellent video Peter!!
Hi David. Many thanks for your kind words..It means a lot to me! You know as no other indee, how many time it takes to make a video.. But this was a big struggle,as the compilation was 1,5+ GB..and my old, full PC dont pull it..so I had to restart many times...But I am glad,I finish it of..as it comes out very nice indeed...The video making was twice the hours than the rebuild it self... Keep up the great work David!!!
Many regards from Hollnad!
Hello Peter, it's so satisfying watching your videos, this one in particular as the result is so sweet! Again, thank you so much for sharing your expertise and your passion.
Big thanks also Dough.. you know yourself,...how much work it is.. ;-) The most work was the video!!! I almost get insane !..a huge file..1,5+ GB..and my PC many times give up half the way!..I had to do it over..and over,....and over again..but thanks god..we have it done!!
I am sure,Adrian wil be a happy new owner of the former peace of junk...
Big regards to the UK !!
