I have two questions: 1) Is Ditto Publishing dealing directly with PROs around the globe? 2 )How many territories is DItto Publishing collecting royalties from?
Thank you for the video! 1. If the artist is already a PRS member, what are the benefits of getting the publishing from Ditto if Ditto keeps 10% of the royalties? And if the artist was registered for both Ditto Publishing + PRS, Would that be possible? And who would pay what to the artist? 2. If the artist is a PRS member and has no publisher associated to them, Who is receiving all the publisher royalties? 3. If the artist sign up for Ditto Publishing, Would the artist receive all the royalties (including the publisher's) except the 10% that Ditto keeps?
Is see you never got a response. It might be worth contacting PRS. I would be interested to hear what they have to say. I don't get it. Ditto wants £39 per year but PRS MCPS or PPL don't charge me for the same service so why go with Ditto?
It’s to make sure u get all your money with no hassle. Otherwise you’ll have to do all the footwork yourself and can be disappointed in dealing with these companies being a no name or up and coming or just from lack of knowledge on how to collect every penny owed to u.
I don't get it. Ditto wants £39 per year but PRS MCPS or PPL don't charge me for the same service. Yes, I don't pay subs or yearly fees with PRS MCPS or PPL. So why go with Ditto?
What does it mean to be "A Member Of Attributed Artist" on a musical work? Could you please explain this and how having this title would help you get paid
Could you make a video comparing Ditto Publishing to Sentric? I believe that would be one of the most wanted videos in the UK/Europe you could possibly make in this regard. Thanks.

Thank you for this video - I appreciate you. If you’ve never claimed mechanical before, can you guys backdate? I’ve been making music that has been released since 2016 and I’ve never collected mechanical.
I have two questions: 1) As a producer can ditto publishing claim all publishing money that I the producer have produced along the years that have been distributed by artists/labels i have worked with? Cause there’ve been times I’ve worked with artists and they never paid me upfront or gave me royalties. So signing up with ditto publishing can I register those songs and make money from publishing? 2) As a producer if an artist or a label has published a song I produced and didn’t give me publishing share, as in they took all the publishing royalties, when I sign up with ditto publishing, can I register such songs as the producer and claim composition share that I deserve?
What if you're self published and have a publishing company on record through BMI? How would a relationship with Ditto affect that or would it be a non-issue?
How does it works with beats that are leases? If I write the song, record it & Master it but I bought a license of a beat from a producer, can I still use Ditto Publishing? I mean. With just a license to use the beat you can go ahead for Publishing or would you need to buy exclusive rights of the beat?
when you lease from a producer find out what that producer is going to allow you to do with the lease...i got a lease from a producer last week there going to let me use it for live performances 1 music video up to 500,000 radio plays and 500,000 streams and a couple other things i cant remember right now. if they know what they are doing they will have a lease agreement they send out with the purchase of the lease if not find what there terms are. fyi your free to earn royalties/use that lease until you have maxed out what yall agreed on only then would you buy a exclusive or if you go viral then you wanna buy that ASAP hope that helped.

I have a question please… I was signed many years ago and released one singe and recorded a demo album via a German label and publisher (maybe the publisher was UK). How much control does the artist have over a sync deal? For example if you pitched a song for a new videogame at Sony and they want to use it. Does the artist have anything to say about the price, whether he/she wants his/her music used for that particular project and other licence contract specifics?
Is it wise to make use of a music publisher that is not based in your home country ie: using a publisher based in the UK when you’re operating in South Africa 🇿🇦 ?
So if you happen to have distributed your music (different projects) through different distributors are you able to collect both musical and publishing royalties in one place, and if yes, How?
My question is regarding The Composition publishing rights . As an unsigned Artist I write my own songs plus i pay for my music instrumentals which is usually made during my paid studio session . Do i then still splits any royalties collected from the composition with the producer ? Even though i paid to have it made already or it’s all my royalties.
Hey Myalo - Yes but you don't need to - your local PRO or a publishing administrator (Like Ditto) will collect all of your internationals royalties for you, it's generally only worth joining ASCAP or BMI if you are a resident of the US, or receive significant airplay or streams in the US.

how is the quality of the loudness when uploaded on ditto? Does it sound the same on spotify? I ask because I know all platforms have their own loudness specifications in regards to LUFs and TRUE PEAK. Does Ditto adjust all of these for each platform so it sounds linear on all platforms?
