This was recorded back in November 2021. We have completed this show and we are looking forward to completing the UA-cam edits as time permits.
We are also working on completing The Last of Us (we have watched through episode 5 as of now) and getting those on UA-cam asap. And of course you can expect new Walking Dead for the next few weeks on Monday mornings.
Also, if you don’t want to wait for the edits, full reactions for the entire show are available now on Patreon.
Great to see the Peaky's back ...next episode goes through the roof. Yep, Alfie and Luca scene steal the show in this episode.
finnaly the return of the best tv show ever.... dont stop again
I'm glad that Peaky Blinders is back
Hi Steve and Lacey I don't watch this show I just like watching you guys reactions
19:45 - I don't know if you noticed but the song Tommy puts on is the first song he heard Grace sing in the Garrison in season 1 when everyone fell silent but Grace kept singing...
I remember when I first watched this episode with my dad...he got a bottle of wine to open and for the first 15 minutes - he didn't open it! 😅😂
3:15 - the little piano bit that plays when Luca is on screen is an underrated and brilliant piece of music... it's almost quiet to show how menacing the Mafia can be without making much noise...(besides this episode with the Tommy Guns btw...😅😂) I've gotta say I was excited when I heard Brody was in the next season but I was underwhelmed with his performance because it was a complete caricature of Don Corleone..." HOWEVER it was still great to watch on screen and he was one of the best villains in the show! He was deadly, uncaring and ruthless...I think if he just made a different choice with his voice it would've been better but nevertheless...it was never less than a joy to watch the scenes he was in! Especially with Alfie Solomons!
5:10 - wouldn't you??? I would do everything and anything to get revenge on those who killed my family!
And 5:32 is a great bit too! Moss is almost putting his foot down and saying "enough is enough"...he's still about as straight as a pretzel and I hate corrupt coppers more than hardcore criminals because you can't blame a criminal for being a criminal...but for someone to take an oath and swear to uphold the law and protect innocent people and take advantage of that innocence makes them the biggest rats of all! One thing that annoys me aswell is that whenever a policeman is accused of lying or being corrupt the other authorities say "you expect us to believe you, a criminal, over a police officer...?" Like somehow policeman are incapable of lying! Before being policeman they are human beings and are just as capable of lying as the criminals!
13:11 - when Alfie disrespects Luca just gave me hope that Alfie wouldn't entertain these goons...
when I first watched this I thought that there's no way Alfie betrays Tommy again! And even the slight and subtle threat of seeing the gun in Alfie's waistband when he picks up the bottles just slightly builds the tension even more...
But I knew Alfie was seeking a deal to ship his rum to New York when he asked if Luca would taste it... he's batshit crazy but also low-key smart because by giving them the rum he's saying "you're not getting anything from me unless your actions/plans benefit mine..."
I would comfortably argue this is the 3rd/4th best scene in the entire show! And I wasn't expecting it tbh...
I get why Alfie did what he did but I wouldn't want my last act on this earth to be betrayal...
PS I'm not a fan of spin offs at all BUT THIS CHARACTER NEEDS A SPIN OFF! LITERALLY MILLIONS OF VIEWERS A WEEK!
Yay you're back and picked up peaky again 😁
Wow this is my first time watching this something different for me
16:58 - I've just checked what £2m in 1926 would be worth today...£153m!
Without a doubt that amount would give Tommy even more immense power and sway with the British army and even regular working people as he could solve their problems with no fuss...
18:25 - wars are the worst thing us humans have ever done...I had a distant relative who fought in WW2 and when he came back he walked into his living room, sat down in the armchair and just burst into tears...
I hope my generation never knows war because although victory seems somewhat glorious there are no winners and like Tommy says "no one came back...' nobody is the same afterwards and the veterans are treated like pests by the very government that sent them off to war...
I've always held this belief...if a man fights for his country and is blessed enough to survive then when he comes back home he should be able to ask for anything that he wants (within the confines of the law obviously...) I could rant all night but nobody would listen...God bless fellow Brits and stay safe ❤
Absolutely !! Veterans should be treated with the upmost respect and should be taken care of!! Even here in America where we show our Veterans the respect they deserve... our own government does tend to fail them from time to time. We should NEVER see a homeless veteran living on the streets. There are programs for housing for veterans... but it's not always an easy process and it's not perfect at all.
I love tommy n lizzie too!
