    My baby died due to asphyxiation caused by this and during my C-section respiratory was supposed to be in the room on standby but they weren't in it took 30 minutes for them to get they're to intubate leaving him with no oxygen the whole time, which left him brain dead.... Good luck to all the expecting mommies out there love and light to all ❤

    Good video, I wish I could see it when I had my baby.
    My mucousy plug fell, something green came out and I called Triage (uk). I've been told not to worry and stay home. Later on it turned out that, actually "green" is very dangerous. He developed sepsis because they never prescribed antibiotics and now the child is severely disabled.
    Every "green" should be checked by a doctor!

      Hi there 😘,
      thanks a lot for sharing your experience with us!
      So, just that we get this right: you called them and told them that you had a green mucus plug, and they told you not to worry???? 🙈

    • @MartaAndreeva
      @MartaAndreeva 10 місяців тому

      @@CareAboutLittleOnes I called because after the mucousy plug fell, it's colour was dark purple red. Straight after that green discharge came out and because of my common knowledge I know "green"= danger, I called and they told me not to worry.
      We asked for my medical records. There weren't phone records, just pieces of paper where it was written that I called for " mucousy discharge", which is absolutely not the real reason I called. Although, I thought she didn't understand me because I'm a foreigner, I think "green" is a simple word, also my partner is Scottish and he would've corrected me.
      Overall, now we are going to fight the hospital because I know why I called. And in the new guide for pregnant women is written what colour is the mucousy plug and that green is danger. It means to me that they did it to a lot of women and disabled a lot of babies, so they decided to correct themselves.

      @@MartaAndreeva This is horrible! Seriously! Something like this should not happen to a member of staff.

      @@CareAboutLittleOnes I know, it's horrible. They are excusing themselves that I replied negatively to their questionnaire if my water broke or the baby moves or if I had contractions. I had none of these symptoms and she advised me to stay home.
      After 7hours, we arrived at the hospital where they kept me 3h before an emergency C-section and no antibiotics for infection and sepsis. Horrendous! My son is severely disabled now and lost CTGs, so can't proceed with a case for the court.

    • @CareAboutLittleOnes
      @CareAboutLittleOnes  2 роки тому

      Hi there 😊,
      we are not sure if we understood your question...
      Is your question if dilation is risky for your baby? Can dilation cause the baby to poop?
      If so, the answer is: no, dilation is not risky for your baby at all. Unless of course, it happens too early. For example: if you go into labor at 30 weeks (and thus start to dilate), then it is obviously risky for the baby...
      But in general: no, dilation itself does not cause a baby to poop in the womb...

    Again and again I was sleeping
    Why I was feeling extreme sleepiness during the labour pain?

    And secondly I had hypotension throughout the pregnancy
    Why I had hypotension?

    • @CareAboutLittleOnes
      @CareAboutLittleOnes  2 роки тому +1

      Hi there 😊,
      it's very difficult to answer your questions!
      Please note that every woman experiences labor in a different way. Normally, extreme fatigue is an early sign of labor. However, sometimes, the fatigue continues during labor. This is rare though because normally, the adrenaline helps you stay awake and alert. So, it's difficult to say why you felt so tired during your labor. But the reason has to do with your hormones... But this is something that only your doctor can answer after checking your blood
      As for hypertension, it is something that many pregnant women experience. There are factors which can increase the risk of hypertension. For example: if you are overweight or even obese, the risk of hypertension is always bigger.
      But we are not gonna lie to you: you can also be slim, eat healthy foods, exercise and still develop hypertension. It's just how pregnancies are: unpredictable.
      We hope this helps! 😊
      We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

      Hi there Krystin 😊,
      the only "sign" that tells you that your baby has passed meconium in the womb is a greenish or blackish discharge. This can either be part of "normal" vaginal discharge. Or it is part of the mucus plug. In both cases, we would not wait to call the doctor!

    • @CareAboutLittleOnes
      @CareAboutLittleOnes  2 роки тому

      Hi there 😊,
      normally, the scar that you feel when you cough is the scar on your belly. This is certainly inconvenient, but not crucial - unless there are medical problems of course (like an infection). However, the more important scar is the one on your uterus because it needs to hold in order to give birth to a baby.
      That said, under normal circumstances, the uterine scar WILL hold. However, there are factors that increase the risk that it ruptures. Here is a video to help you with these factors: ua-cam.com/video/-re1_KCgKWI/v-deo.html
      In general, if you believe that something is not right with your scar, please see a doctor for a checkup! Whether or not you can have a VBAC is something that only a qualified healthcare provider can tell you in a personal conversion...
      We hope this helps! 😊
      We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

    Great information! Thanks.☺️ just one question please. Is it true that a baby could possibly poo in the womb if the mom takes the recommended dose of castor oil to induce labor? Am 40+4 days pregnant and this is my 5th pregnancy and am already 2cm dilated and am ready for the baby haha.

    • @CareAboutLittleOnes
      @CareAboutLittleOnes  7 місяців тому +1

      Hi there 😊,
      we know exactly what you mean! There are many rumors that apparently, Castor oil can make a baby poop in the womb.
      All we can tell you is that so far we have not found any recent studies which have confirmed that that's the case.
      To be honest with you, we also don't know HOW this should be the case. What Castor oil does is it triggers an intestinal reaction in your body (i.e. if that reaction is strong, it means that you will suffer from diarrhea). And because the uterus sits right in front of the intestines, it is often so that there is a "spill-over" effect from the intestines on the uterus.
      The same reaction can also be caused by spicy food. But funnily, no one claims that spicy food can make a baby poop in the womb. And we also don't hear anyone warn from spicy foods during pregnancy.
      We have also challenged doctors who made such claims and ask them, HOW exactly they can establish a causal relationship between Castor oil and meconium in the womb. They had no answer.
      So, that's all we can say.
      Can we exclude it? No, because there are no scientific studies that have explicitly focused on that question.
      But again, we cannot see how it should happen?
      We hope this helps! 😊
      We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and baby no 5 (kudos to you!!)! ❤️
