The Iranian languages sound like they are a bridge between the Indo- and the -European in the Indo-European language family. I haven't heard an Iranian or Indian language that can easily pass as some language spoken in Europe other than Romani and probably Domari.
Sorani Kurdish has a lot of Arabic loanwords, roughly 3,000-5,000, due to historical connections like the Islamic period. Here are some examples showing the overlap: • Unity: ئیتتیحاد (Ittihad) - اتحاد (Ittihad) • Realization: ئیدراک (Idrak) - إدراك (Idrak) • Eternal: ئەبدی (Ebedi) - أبدي (Ebedi) • Book: کتێب (Keteb) - كتاب (Kitab) • Trust/Right: حەق (Haq) - حق (Haqq) • State/Government: دۆڵەت (Dawlat) - دولة (Dawla) • Trust: ئەمانەت (Amanet) - أمانة (Amanah) • Mind/Reason: عەقل (Aql) - عقل (Aql) • Peace: سڵام (Slam) - سلام (Salam) • Time: زەمان (Zeman) - زمان (Zaman) So please stop saying things that are blatantly not true. In my opinion, it’s cool how languages adapt and borrow from each other over time. This kind of evolution makes language rich and dynamic!
