Before release date we may see new gameplay showcase for Dragon Ball GT with Super Saiyan 4, DBS Super Hero With Gohan Beast or Dragon Ball Daima information which releases the same month!
This Number 1 Dragon Ball Tenkaichi series will continue to give us even more games stages, new unique animations, character transformation as well as super and ultimate attacks!
And Dragon Ball Super Manga is on hiatus this month and next month.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Future Saga DLC will still be getting updates alongside Sparking Zero's release so I will continue to cover it on the channel!

Bandai Namco’s licensing agreement goes through Toei Animation, so it has to be legally through the anime to share the rights.

That’s why many manga exclusive abilities are already present in DB Heroes arcade games.
The primary factor would be merchandising licensing, so characters are the main issue.

@@TradedSoulthey don’t have Eis or Nuova, but the fact those 2 are fan favourites along with Pikkon tells me that they will definitely be DLC. Weird to even mention the Othef World tournament in the game and NOT have Pikkon 😭

And yet we know they CAN make characters immune to those, because Future Gohan exists.
Giants in BT3 felt really sluggish, but from what I’ve seen, they received a nice speed boost in SZ. Can’t wait to use Golden Great Ape Baby again!
Depends on how you use them really, they felt exactly how they should be for me in BT3
In BT3 Great Ape Baby was normal speed, since in GT he also was fast.
Didn't Broly and Arale have the same defensive abilities as Giants in 3

They wouldn't waste such a good slot in the DLC, they're definitely going to have Cell Max alongside Beast Gohan and Orange Piccolo, no question.

you need ssj3 or above characters to stagger, future gohan was a wimp with a mer normal super saiyan, and arguably one of the most letdowns characters ever, no body gonna even care such a poor handicapped version of Gohan exist, especially over the more badass Gohan versions, like saiyan saga gohan, Cell saga gohan, Buu saga Gohan, Buuhan, and the upcoming Black Gohan and beast gohan

Yes i will sometimes use giants. I been wanting to play with a giant for 17 years and we finally get them back. Jenemba being my favorite.
They need to get on with the anime so we can get UI Avatar as a Giant character.
This is dope, I'm a huge fan of the Oozaru form 💯💯💪🏾💪🏾
I would start as any Saiyan character, then transform into a Great Ape as needed. As far as I’m aware Kid Goku (Dragon Ball), Raditz, Turles, Nappa, & Vegeta (Saiyan saga) were all able to transform into Great Apes in BT3, so I don’t see why that wouldn’t carry over.

I think some of the Great Ape transformations have been removed such as those which aren't visibly in manga or anime like Turles and Nappa, haven't seen anything about their existence. Sad because I really liked Nappa with Great Ape, even XenoVerse had it.

What I don't like is Great Ape Vegeta can't be staggered by Teen Gohan Ssj2 just because he's a giant, which makes no sense
yeah but balancing for fighting games means canon scaling has to be ignored to a degree, otherwise the only viable characters would be later dbs/gt characters
Making a character unplayable juste so you can be satisfied about the canon events is so dumb

This is a dope idea and I really hope a lot of people utilize it but I’m sticking with Sword.
If its anything like the past, then depending on the giants you face, you will not necessarily need to be SS3 to make them flinch when damaged. SS1 Goku definitely could dog walk a great ape vegeta. You had to be there to know what im talking about when it came to the power scaling👍🏿
this was a mechanic back in tenkaichi 3, its just returning its not really a lore reason why its like this
It's for game balance. If they gave most of the cast the ability to bypass one of the main benefits of playing a Giant, then there would be reason to play as Giants because they'd be useless.

Bypassing what benefit because it sounds like ape gets to cheese out all forms except you guessed it near ssj3 to blue.

@@genericwhitemale9566 lol your really comparing budokai when you could pretty much run alot of characters in budokai and win. Sparking introduces classes on top of seeming more powerscaling. Most touch wasnt that heavily game changing and i was more of a ragingblst 2 player then a budokai player. I can see the game flopping. Cant really compare the 2 cause the scaling and the mechanics are totaly different seems to also mimic xenoverse 2s ability slots. Basicly making this game a throw up of all other games and tryna throw all this dumb crap in that isnt gonna work. I can see this game dieng in a few months and everyone regressing back to budokai.
I'm so excited. People new to the franchise are going to be really happy! There's so many unique things with this franchise that sets it apart from normal fighting games. I'm not even a fighting game fan, just a DBZ fan. This series has always ticked all the boxes for me. :)

It should be SS2 and above. SS3 seems alittle sketched since alot of characters outside of the main casts don't have that many transformations, but skill is gonna make the difference here. So let it roll.
Lol skill isnt gonna matter power scaling doesnt work for fighting games for a reason. If someones the same skill lvl but the characters stronger who wins? The more broken character. If someone knows how to exploit bad balance who wins? Yea this games gonna be trash. If this game release lile raging blast 2 or budokai where no one had a power scaling this game would be alot better. Same for bleach rebirth. Im getting tired of newgen games. Stop releasing garbage that takes no skill and just allows people to abuse broken characters i have 0 idea for that garbage

The giant characters armor should only be bypassed with characters or transformations stronger than them respectively. Like for example, Broly vs Ssj2 Gohan, or maybe even Kioken (x10+) Goku vs Oozaru Vegeta?

A simulator? So your say8ng its fair for this game to have power scaling. If the power scaling was removed and they allowed ape not to have hyper armor which is the worse mechanic in games. Nobody likes hyper armor and nobody likes power scaling. Especialy how picking someone weaker is gonna matter is gonna dramaticly gonna lower the skill cause everyones just gonna pick goku blue and other characters same for bleach rebirth.

I'm so glad Giants are back. I spent hours with them in BT3's Tournament Modes, winning a gauntlet as a character several times the size of everyone else was a freakin' power trip. 😁

No. He was not immune to rush attacks and throws. He just had the armor and high defense.

Haven’t seen any dragon ball so probably won’t get the game but I’d still like to contribute my two cents. Call me basic, boring, a sheep or whatever but if the transformation works the way I think it does then id probably play any sayin that can transform cause going from base to something like SSGSS sounds so freakin’ cool. Plus I think you can do fusions mid battle and gogeta blue would also be really fun

A game I do plan on playing, also made by Bandai Namco is Rebirth of souls, and if that is how well they can incorporate transformations into this game, I can’t wait for Bleach. Sparking zero still looks sick as hell and I can’t wait to watch it
Elite Saiyan Saga Vegeta will 100% be my main, but i’ll transform into the Great Ape every now and then.
if its like in previous game is not wise avised to transform immediatly into giant form because you will not be able to revert backto your previous form meaning if your opponement is good againt giant you can not regain your mobility to counter attack.
