Free Comedy in the Plaza Event at San Leandro's Main Library on July 20th

The City of San Leandro and the Arts, Culture & Library Commission present the fourth annual, free Comedy in the Plaza on Saturday, July 20, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Award-winning actor, playwright, comedian, and talk show host Brian Copeland is producing and emceeing the event featuring some of his favorite comedians including, Dat Phan (“Winner of NBC’S Last Comic Standing”), Laurie Kilmartin (“Conan, CBS Late Show & Amazon Prime”), Maureen Langan (“Winner of America’s Got Talent”), Ngaio Bealum (“Cooking on High, Netflix”), Paco Romane (“Winner of San Francisco International Comedy Competition”), and Chip Franklin (“Winner of the national Edward R Murrow award for writing, writer for SNL and appeared on Conan”). The event will take place at the outdoor plaza of the San Leandro Main Library, located at 300 Estudillo Avenue, in downtown San Leandro. Food Truck Mafia will be providing food trucks featuring savory and sweet dishes.
The event is recommended for ages 13 and older. Street parking is available nearby, and it is strongly recommended to arrive early starting at 4:00 p.m. to secure a good spot with a blanket or low-back lawn chair. For event details, please visit SanLeandro.org/ComedyinthePlaza
