There is an easy modification to allow the spreadsheet to automatically enter the $0.35 transaction fee (or 20p in the UK), simply add the following formula in G2: =if(D2>0,0.35,) And then copy down for the length of the sheet. Being a picky old (former) IT teacher I'd also tidy up your profit columns using a similar idea (ie only show the total if there is an entry on the row). Amend the formula in J2 and copy down the column: =if(D2>0,sum(D2-(E2+F2+H2+I2+G2)),) and in K3 (note, not K2 as that is a different formula!): =if(D3>0,sum(K2+J3),)

Thank you! I was looking for something simple to use. I do have a small suggestion. Instead of putting the $.30 in every time, just change the PayPal fee formula to "=sum(D2*0.029)+0.3" . That way it adds the .30 to the fee but only if there is a fee there.
That would work most of the time. However, when you have an occasional international sale (either through the Ebay Global Shipping Program or you sell internationally), the transaction fees can be different. Review the Fees area on PayPal to get more information on this.

Glad to know I'm not the only oldschool seller that inputs my sales manually rather than paying for a service to do it for me. I enjoy doing it myself. LOL - thanks for sharing! I add in the 30 cent paypal fee in the same column that calcs the 2.9% fee... that would eliminate you having to manually input it every time.

Lindey 1st off THANK YOU for this ............now I have the no store chart and changed the dates for the months at the bootom for 2019 . Imput all from Jan - March thje Ebay fee wa 2.9%. Now when I get to April and beyond, it it set at 3.7 % did it go up or if not , how can I change it back to 2.9%?

If you enter this value for cell G2 "=if(D2>0,0.3,0)" without the quotes, copy and paste it down the whole column, your ebay transaction fee is solved and you dont have to fill in the 30 cents everytime there is a sale anymore. It's automatic. Copy it though the rest of your sheets and it works perfect. Just a thought.
Lindy, Love this spreadsheet. Is there any way you can add a column that would calculate the Average Sale Price Per Item. I typically like to be at the $25-$30 average cost per item and would like to monitor this. Thanks so much again for this template. A little more user friendly than the one I currently use.

That's actually an error. Someone accidentally edited the sheet and I had to go back in and correct it. I thought I had fixed it all but apparently missed that! You could definitely use it for inventory if you chose to though!
I looked it up and some places are as high as 5.2% + .30$ from what I saw. it depends where u sell to and how much the transaction is. I think u should make a spreadsheet where u can list the price of paypal fee yourself instead of having it calculated. many people sell to different countries. even UK is 3.9% + .30$. your work has got me heading in the right direction. thanks!
This is the most simple spread sheet I've found for my needs as a small seller. However, PP includes the shipping cost when they charge their fee but the math on this sheet does not.
Lindey great spreadsheet, I know you are not an experts, do you know if you give this spreadsheets to a CPA at tax time do you think this would be enough. Do you know from experience if paypal and ebays , also amazon send schudele forms into the IRS. Just wondering what Column is taxable.
