Just one question 🙋 did you wipe your shoes 👟 with something before you started to paint 🎨? Cause i saw somewhere that some guy was wiping 🧻 first with some to take invisible 🫥 fabric clear coat, i think he said 🤔
I have a pair of used black huaraches I want to splat paint the midsoles. Do I use acetone on the midsoles first or will it take the colour out with the factory finish.??? Really confused, many thanks, great vid😕.
Great question! The acetone does allow for better adhesion, but it is going to remove the factory finish, and if you rub hard enough the color as well. You can do one of two things, do a light application of acetone and after your splatter apply a finisher/sealant. Or if you skip the acetone, you definitely want to make sure you apply a finisher, otherwise chipping could happen.
One more question 🙋. Really sorry, I just need to know how to finish the fabric and leather with a sealer after painting?? Would I use a brush on the material to finish it with a matte sealer or is the sealer just for plastic and Leather ?? Thanks again!!!!!
I'm so late getting back to this... But I put everything I use in the description. But overall your going to want to get some acetone to remove the finish (and color), then I used acrylic paint for leather on the leather parts and on any fabric mesh parts use a medium to mix into the acrylic paint to thin it out (or you can use fabric paint). You want to make sure you let it dry fully between coats, and at the very end you want to apply a finisher/sealant. That's the basics, but for sure check my description box for the exact products.

I love being able to customize your own kick’s… I did my huaraches like the Jordan Cement 4s…
Great video, great work!!! But please explain what colors you use, with what you mix colors, with what exactly you’re taking color of as well😉
Nice...such a steady hand

Yes exactly, just use a brush and brush on the finisher really thin. I put a finisher on just about all surfaces just to protect it.
@@MeiaSoQuick so even suede like surfaces which will move as your walking should be OK with brush on finishing? Thanks
Cool
What all do you use I got a pair I wanna paint also. Like what type of paint you use just all your equipment

How do you know how much gac 900 to use
It's a 1:1 ratio so it's pretty easy to eyeball it.
