Great video and steam in massive track shots. The whistle sound gets better as it heats up.Michigan has so many great landscape and water areas many people from other states dont even know.
What a magnificent engine! Let's hope that more of this engine's surviving NKP & C&O cousins will be restored as well!! Beautiful scenery, the Midwest is so beautiful in the fall!
Hey, nice video! Always nice to see 1225 stretch her legs on another run. I'm currently making a pack of bells for the video game Railroader, and I wanted to see if it was okay to use the audio from your video in the pack, the audio from the very beginning to be exact. I'll make sure you get proper credit for the audio. Again, very nice shots. Have a good day!
My special needs son loves trains 🚆🛤🚟🚋🚞🚝🚊🚉🚈🚇🚅🚄🚃 especially steam locomotives 🚂 like 1225! But he does not like wind turbines such as the ones between 5:37 & 7:13 he says they spoil the scenery and that fuel cells are a much better green energy source than wind turbines and solar panels.
I've always been stressed about the condition of the rails there...They're beginning to show their age and look like spaghetti. It'd be a damn shame if one, (or more), turned over on the '25 and the whole thing went on the ground, then it's time to call R.J. and he doesn't take checks, (last time I checked).
I was there on the 27th. I was a great day.
Notice how nice crisp and even her exhaust sounds. There is almost no rod clank ether.
Love it so much fantastic video.
Thank you!

Now THAT was smooth 👏🏾
Probably the most seamless transition I’ve seen in these videos 🔥
Holy cow
Thanks! That was born of necessity as the steam messed up the camera focus, but I think it worked out even better this way.

Michigan is definitely underrated
That whistle must be amazing to hear in person!
I got to drive this locomotive earlier this year and blow the whistle many times, can confirm, it does sound amazing!!

Great video Sean! You got some neat locations and angles I’ll definitely have to try next time around! It was a crazy, but fun chase to say the least!
Thanks Evan! It was great meeting you again out there.
Nice video! I was part of the line at the signal box at Farwell with you, that was a great curve with fantastic colors

18:21 that’s me by the depot
I wish I had known about this sooner, and I would've made the 30 min. journey from Manistee, to Cadillac to see this!
Well maybe they'll be back next year sometime. It's well worth going to see!
Good video, like.
Thank you!
Awesome video! Glad you finally got to see 1225!

1225: I like autumn but my favorite is Christmas

What's the Polar Express doing in fall
