If you’re not totally set in stone about having a dragon team and more set about the DnD themed gym, perhaps making every member of the team a different dnd class could be cool? Delphox for a wizard, decidueye for ranger, sawk for a monk (not sure if he’s in cobblemon) etc
I was about to suggest something similar but with "classic fantasy/D&D monsters" Like, Ditto/Muk to play the role of a Slime / Ariados as a Giant Spider / Dusclops/Cofagrigus as a Mummy / Any of Honedge evolution as an Animated Object/Dancing Sword / Crobat as a Stirge ect If we want to go even deeper, the Champion could even have multiple paths/"adventures" ready that the challenger can choose when entering the gym - the "Adventure" would change the team and you could even have a different room/arena for each of them 🤔 (it would take SO LONG to do and it ***might*** be way more of a "vibe" idea than a competitive one LMAO)
I'm With the Delphox, Decidueye. I was thinking Honedge/Aegislash for the sword and shield. Baxcalibur, Dragon based around Excalibur. Escavalier being a knight in armor would be cool. Dragonite for final?

I think the best thing you could do for your DnD gym is this. Every gym has a small challenge/navigation puzzle to get through before you get to the gym trainer inside. So, make something like a dungeon themed challenge of some sort, dodging arrow traps and lava pits, and at the end, you come out to the usual hoard of treasure every fantasy/DnD dragon has. That hoard is the actual gym battlefield.
If you can get legendaries i think rayquaza is a great option If you can get mega evolutions i would say Mega charizard X And i believe Dragonite would be a great option or what i think is better is a dragapult Btw love your content quake :DDDDDDDD
Noivern is definitely one of the best pokemon to fit that theme, and in double battles it's insane with Boomburst. For other pokemon that are "Dungeon" or D&D Themed, go with pokemon like Delphox, Chesnaught, Aegislash, or Druddigon
my personal favorites in terms of dragon types have to be Zekrom, Haxorus and Tyrantrum but i could see a chandelure or a grimmsnarl in a D&D themed team. (Hope that helps, continue what you're doing i love your content)
I think out of the dragon pokémon that are available in cobblemon, dragapult would be a really cool choice! and I think "Penumbra" would be a great name for a dragapult :D (I named my dragapult in my recent sword playthrough "Nightfall", after a power metal song based on j.r.r. tolkien's The Silmarillion (which, funnily enough, would also sort of work for the d&d theme, given that tolkien's work was quite influential for d&d))
Maybe you could do a Kingdra? Not well versed in DND, but maybe you could name it Siren? Hydra too, but Kingdra is just missing a lot of heads. Hydra could also be a good name for a Hydreigon! Love the video :)
Stonjourner as a suggested mon? Also barbarian dwarf Persserker? Maybe a Sableye or a Runerigus is they're available. Something that would remind of a dungeon monster, or classes, or magical items, Doublade, Ceruledge? Granbull as an orc or a kobold seems fit. As a dragon I would pick Hydraigon

Haxorous would be cool to see. Really high attack stat and decent speed with access to dragon dance. I suggest the name Cliff or Clifford after an actual knight from the 1300s. Also because Haxorus is based off of a dinosaur that is found in areas in Africa that have an abundance of cliffs

I remember reading books as a little kid where there was a water dragon named Serendipity that lived with a boy on a tropical island.)
I have so many ideas for the dnd inspired team 😅 Togekiss/Clefable (Cleric), Sableye/Gengar (Rogue), Hatterene/ Alakazam (Wizard), Decidueye/Leafeon (Ranger), Garchomp/Swampert (Barbarian), and Dragonair (Ace). Also maybe your town could have a dragon skeleton around it. And the badge could be called Dungeon Badge.
Maybe multiple themes? For example the dungeon can have multiple rooms, one for caves, one for lakes/ mushroom etc. So you could keep the same team, and change the lead pokemon etc. Also for the badge, the DM Badge? Dragon Master ofc, totally not Dungeon Master ;)
honestly as far as dragon teams go I feel since you already have a Larvitar and Gible you could run a sand team. Sand Stream Tyranitar + Sand Veil Garchomp is pretty nice, especially if you can equip Gar with an item like Bright Power that stacks evasion. If you can get a Sand Rush Dracozolt you'd be golden. (Garchomp can learn Double Team too apparently!) Plus I know you mainly wanna focus on Dragon types but Sand Force Gigalith is a slept on beast for sand weather teams. (Yes oddly enough Gigalith is considered a Dragon-like Pokémon, I believe some Dragon Tamers in the game use it. Not mad it's an amazing Pokémon and Roggenrola is pretty easy to get in Cobblemon) On top of that you can add another steel dragon type like Hisuian Goodra with sap sipper to take super effective grass moves that'd be aimed at Ttar or Gigalith As for the rest of your team it'd be Sand/Ground/Steel types so here're my suggestions 1. Choice Band Archeops, get the most out of it for Defeatist. It's an easy glass cannon Pokémon that you can use to punish and can be easily sac'd 2. Nidoqueen for setting up stealth rock/toxic spikes, and having ground/ice/poison moves (your pick, Queen is better than King since they can accomplish the about the same amount of dmg but the Queen is tankier) 3. Kommo-o / Eviolite Shelgon with overcoat so they don't take sand damage. both are pretty bulky but I'd recommend the Kommo-o 4. Tyrantrum obviously, doubt that I have to explain 5. Same for Flygon I wasn't lying when I said I was a Dragon enthusiast, I really love making Dragon teams on Showdowns and running it, seeing how viable they are and these strats should get you relatively far in your SMP. I think a neat idea for a DnD themed gym would have the challenger stepping into a short DnD adventure, where the outcome of a dice roll will determine what kind of challenger they face. The goal could be to explore a short dungeon, collecting three items that will unlock a door to the final opponent, the gym leader. As for the opponents, they could be Pokemon based on different DnD creatures, or maybe even mobs that they player themselves would have to fight. If you wanted to get REALLY fancy about it, you could even give the player the option of either using their team, or picking one of the final evolutions of the Kalos starters as rental Pokemon for the gym, since they are very commonly associated with DnD classes.

Tyrantrum would be an amazing addition. One of the combos I go with is a Rock Head Tyrantrum with Head Smash/Dragon Rush. Rock Head prevents recoil damage. Name wise, it should be King Mighter.
For the daily question stuff like flygon (name sor) Blazekin(flare the martial artist) most unova mons hydraigin, exscavalier or samurot would work love your video by the way
after watching a couple of your vids and seeing how high quality they are I was expecting that you've been making videos for years but I surprised when I saw you only have 7. Good shit man
(Almost) every DnD tale starts in a tavern! Your gym should be a small town with a tavern on entry where you start the gym trial! Then have a few hidden objects the challenger needs to find within the town and take them to the ominous castle on the hill overlooking the town (where the Gym battle happens!)
Man, I've been watching CallieBuilds for a while now with her Cobblemon content, and now seeing you in Battlecraft, this really makes me want to pick up the game. I gotta set aside some time to play it. Not sure if you're not looking specifically for dragon typed pokemon or DnD themed pokemon, either way, I recommend Kingdra. Dragon and water is a cool typing and Kingdra can be pretty powerful if used correctly!

I really wasn't sure if this was the current or past season of battlecraft but then I saw the cow stuck in the mineshaft entrance and I knew I was in the right place the church with it's 3 dark, deepslate roof segments gave me the idea of calling your badge the "Hydra" badge would also fit the dragon theming
Your longer scripted videos are fire but these videos are just as good in a completely different way. Hope we get a good mix of the two. The way you use the music is especially good, syncing up the underground theme from gen 4 with you jumping into the mine was awesome
I highly recommend honedge as a good evolution line for a dungeons and dragons theme, as each evolution can suit a different difficulty level for your gym, and eagislash is beastly and fits the kingly themed skin, also Reuniclus might make for a good gelatinous cube themed pokemon if he's in the mod. Also thought alakazam could serve as a good pick fir the court wizard
Gotta consider Bisharp or lucario for the Knights, Ceruledge and Armorouge as well. Also Accelgor would make an excellent Rogue. I love the idea of being a dnd themed gym, and as the dragon master in my own cobblemon server, and dnd nut, id recommend calling it fhe Advantage Badge.
Might be a little silly, but I'd love to see Dracovish on your team if you can find the fossils! Aboleth would work as a nickname I think. Dracovish kind of looks like a derpy one.
If you want a Pokémon for your team, get a tyrunt/tyrantrum and name it tarrasque! Fits the dragon type part of the theming and the dnd part, as a tarrasque is a creature from it!

You could have a team member for each of the classic classes, like a special attacker after a wizard, a bulky physical attacker after a barbarian, etc

I recommend to replace the full blocks above the doorways with a stair of the adjacent block type, hope that helps a bit :)

When i heard you were the DnD gym leader i thought immediately about Aegislash and magearna. They just give off such Magical auras

Gimmighoul is similar to a mimic from dnd, so maybe they could be cool! Pop an eviolite on them and they might be pretty viable too.

If you want a Pokémon for your team, get a tyrunt/tyrantrum and name it tarrasque! Fits the dragon type part of the theming and the dnd part, as a tarrasque is a creature from it!
As a dnd nerd, a dnd based pokemon team is an awesome idea!

I'll comment this again in the next video in the series, but Dragonite (the og Dragon), Delphox (the Wizard), Aegislash (the sword & shield), and Ceruledge/Armorouge (the armor) seem like they just HAVE to be in a D&D gym.

Honestly I feel like a D&D team without Golurk would feel kinda off but thats just me, for a Badge name you could play it simple and do something like the Adventurer badge or maybe something like the Dungeoneering badge.
