- The NUX MG-300 is not just a powerful and extremely versatile amp modeler, it also includes a drum machine. If you want to play along to a rhythm or a backing track, or are inspired to create a loop, there are 56 drum beats with eight rhythm styles, each with seven different beats, and a 60 second - Phrase Loop Synchronization tool. Check out this video with all 56 !!!! different drum beats and 7 metronomes of the MG-300.
Why no reggae and Ska drum rhythm... it's common music type for musician playing in cafes
thanks for the vid. How do you think this would hold up for hip hop?
Some of the beats are kind of corny and not that useful, having said that there are some nice beats that I've used for actual recordings.
i want “reckoner” type beat
I think the drums on the MG-300 are just a free giveaway - nothing really serious, but good enough for practicing.
Hello Helmut, thank you for checking the drum beats. Question: can you change the tempo of the beats and stays the pitch the same?
Yes to both!
thanks for the video, do you like the quality of the drums?
I am not really using them, but for a quick demo or jam they'd be absolutely fine!
No "fill in" function?
"Bald" setting.
3. Bald Rock. We use to call it the 24/7 beat in our punk and metal bands
How can you adjust the tempo of the beats?
By turning knob "SELECT"
on loop mode it counts the beats before start?
I am not using it's looper and therefore not sure about it. Pls check other sources like the NUX MG300 discussions and patches Facebook group.
@@helmutshatner The Zoom G1 Four does it and the Joyo OMB does it too, love that function, remembers me the drummer in the band
Hi, can the created loop be saved?
I am not using it's looper and therefore not sure about it. Pls check other sources like the NUX MG300 discussions and patches Facebook group.
My micro br drums sound better than this and it's from 2007!
It's still good enough to practice timing or just noodle around with the looper ;-) ;-) ;-)
Yes ,it may do but the amp modelling on this unit is amazing , the drums are just an extra for practicing ,people buy this for the amp modelling
