As someone who loves 80s gary moore tone im not sure i agree this preset does it justice

i am a fan of the one i wanted to buy before coming here....never mind which it is, but it is obviously the better of the three ( Hint; it's the one i am lusting after...) ha. suck on them grapes!

In my experience, the Vox is usable for me. The Bad Horsie has unique characteristics but has some weird glitch which sometimes not responding accurately to the pedal.

I don't know if it's only me but both units sounded different they both have different clarities to my ears I thought the mg 300 on some settings sounded more expansive sounding or more favourable to what maybe I wanted to hear in adding more stuff with the new unit maybe it gives you more but does that come at a price off clarity personally for me I'd rather less clutter only the tried and true best off everything loaded on leaving all the fluffy behind you will probably never use ok speak for myself yep

Hi m8 great video. Do you know how to change wah on unit without computer SW?

Just taken delivery of an NGS6. Manual implies it is just plugged in and links to PC, DAW and Editor app. It doesn't ! None of those recognised the unit. Tried updating drivers but that didn't help. Took me half a day any several emails to the supplier and NUX before finding out that I had to ignore the message on the software updater that says the NGS6 could not be detected before updating the firmware. Why do I have to do that anyway? Surely the supplier - Artist -and/or NUX should ship a turnkey product. It's not for Customers to make things work! After updating and trying many combinations within the editor found that NO combination was to my liking. The only good thing about the NGS6 is that it is a nice clear i/f into my Reaper DAW. Otherwise I don't like it at all!

Can we use wah pedal together with whammy?

I’d prefer the Blackstar personally…for the price difference…I’d take two Blackstars and a Strat Ultra with a Tele Ultra and a few months of groceries along with a Les Paul Std

I recently sold mine and was going to upgrade to something like a handwired doctor Z amp. And after my friend played through two of them was so disappointed unfortunately now I really miss my little Studio 10 6L6. I think the main reason I sold it was I was worried about the possibility of it needing to be serviced and being in the United States black star has no one here qualified to service them nor will they allow them access to the schematics so they can fix them. On the other side that was the most reliable amp I've owned in over 15 years absolutely zero issues. Looks like I might have to buy another one my only other issue was it didn't seem like it took certain amp in a box pedals very well but it didn't really need them it sounded great.

And should i Use Nux mg 30 as a driver in Reaper audio settings or Focurite USB

Hi pls help me I have Focusrite Scarlett solo audio interface and Nux mg 30 and Daw is Reaper and I always use studio headphones to hear my sound.. whenever i listen from the heaphone out of mg 30 it sounds great but whenever its the headphone coming out from focusrite solo its sohnds lagging even with buffer size 64 samples n full muddy.. i have a practise marshall mg 10 amp at home can you pls help me to get best settings for recording in Reaper ?? I need to use the audio interface also

NICE PLAYING ! i don't think it's anything to do with age, no one like LCD displays and scrolling through loads of menus, anyone that has used a proper amp knows that keeping it simple is best. Unfortunate that this seems to almost require connecting up to a PC, i think it seems that it is aimed at people recording music but could possibly work for live, if the sounds are good enough, i guess i just won't know unless it try it. Have you tried it through a power amp pedal and into a real cab for on stage? that's really what i want at the moment, i'm not ready to give up a CAB on stage.

What settings did you use for this

I wanted to ask you a question about the whammy pedal in the mg-30 When you physically move the pedal in the mg-30, the animation on the pedal in the QuickTone moves and you get the 0-100 parameter as you move it? The red ignition pilot does not turn off either for the Harmonist, nor do the LEDs of the wahmmy pedal move as you advance the pedal, which I have seen happening and the animation moves along with the physical pedal use in some youtube videos of it. I've tried the latest version of the quickTone from the nux website

Mine is different. To enter the calibration screen after highlighting the 'pedal' icon I need to push the 'save' button. Pushing 'edit/exit' does exactly what it says...exits the entire menu. WIN10/latest firmware as of feb2024
