Man, one of the best things about Michael's playing -- and there are many -- is the big ol' grin he always has on his face.

These boys are doin the Lord's work. Michael's stylings bring to mind the nuances of fiddler Scott Stoneman. One of the greatest to ever wield the fiddle and bow.

Stoney Point is a very big story in Canada. A 'military decision' left a group of Indigenous people homeless from their place at Stoney Point. They waited 50 years for the government to restore the land to them because they already had an agreement that the military would give it back. It sat and sat..,50 years, they finally started to be there again, kind of de facto. Then one day after a peaceful but a bit shocking-looking demonstration therd, the police shot one of them. He was unarmed. Very weird, the whole thing. A fairly accurate summary of that story is a movie called 'One Dead Indian'. I don't know if this is the story that Mr. Cleveland is referring to.
