Ernest Tubb - WALKING THE FLOOR OVER YOU
Ernest Dale Tubb was born February 9, 1914 in Crisp, Texas and sadly passed away on September 6, 1984 in Nashville, Tennessee. 🙏
Nicknamed the Texas Troubadour, was an American singer and songwriter and one of the pioneers of country music. His biggest career hit song, "Walking the Floor Over You" was written by him April 26, 1941 on Decca records, that marked the rise of the honky tonk style of music.🎶
He recorded many hits with bluebird, Decca, and First generation records.🎸🎶🥁
Ernest Tubb had influence many, many musicians over the years, including myself.❤️
He is laid to rest at Hermitage Memorial Gardens in Old Hickory, Tennessee.✝️
