- The closure of the Ernest Tubb Record Shop seemed to be the end of a 75-year story downtown. But a new group has bought the property, including Tubb's grandson.
I want to hear his style of music make a come back his talent is still unmatchable to this day
I'm Ernest Tubbs Great granddaughter, my mother was Leah-Lisa Tubb, Justin Tubbs Daughter. I'm glad it's re-opening. The news said "what's it like being in a family of country music singer" well, it was basically stolen from my grandfather Justin Tubb before he passed away. So I'm actually glad someone in the family bought it!

Do u know when the Ernest Tubb shop is reopening?? I bought his last sessions double cd from 1977 to 1981 there too a few years ago
