    Interesting video. Ij could draw several comparisons with my own issue which I've had for nearly 3 years starting at 37 years old. Im very sporty, always have been cycling gymnastics as a kid running.... So last year I got an Xray before the first covid lock down. I was told via what's app video that I have arthritis?!?!
    One year on with hundreds of turmeric tablets later, I saw a different physio and he's sent me in for further Xrays to rule a hip impingement out.... I hope so as I've a way out through surgery I'm told.. But at moment I have unbelievable tightness on my hip flex, clicking on outside of hip and up the side of my lower back on same side. Also tightness in the groin, but the hip flex is really inflamed I can tell, stretching seems to alleviate it temporarily, but it sometimes makes it worse, everyday I'm back at square one unless I foam role the leg everywhere and do none aggregating yoga stretches... Nightmare to be honest.

    I totally agree with you! I have to fix the tilt of the pelvis. I agree with you because I already have hip impingement by getting into a posterior pelvic tilt then sliding with one leg forward to stretch the psoas.

    Thanks for the informative video!
    I would like to address a concern of mine, here is some context;
    - I am 19 years old, and participate in a range of sports, to name a few powerlifting, basketball, skateboarding.
    I have this snapping/ popping of the front hip when I move my left knee up and down. I notice this popping when performing the following exercises: lying dead bug, barbell squats. This agitates my hip and impacts in activity- from shifting hips during the squat to even standing up straight. I’ve also observed pain on the medial side of my leg, I believe that my adductors are inflamed.
    Could you kindly send some suggestions for things I should do to combat this? Thank you!

      There are a lot of different variants of pinchpoints. We only covered one. With that being said a skilled examiner should be able to do a thorough physical examination to be able to answer that question for you. We can do that if you’d like to come see us or set up a virtual session. However, as much as I’d love to believe that self-help UA-cam videos are always the answer they’re not. Many people have slight variance to their condition and for the best and fastest solution most of the time they need to have a customize plan of attack developed by someone who has performed the assessment. If you’d like help from us, just reach out via the link in the video.

After getting through the initial pain i am hopeful to solve with PT, but I was also diagnosed with a pincer deformity causing this - with the pincer deformity is it possible to rehab FAI by fixing pelvic tilt and strengthening the muscles, or is surgery the only way? Btw been struggling with this since 17 years old. It started with lower back pain and left si joint pain along with constant grinding and crunching sound. Its killing me right now at 23 since I hit the gym, do mma and run. My left leg can even deliver proper roundhouse kicks with speed and mobility. There are no chiropractors in my area so I need to fix myself...
    I have a question to ask you, how do I make my si joint go upwards and fix my fai like you said in the vid,can you give me a link to video playlist or something ?
    Also can a tight psoas cause an si joint shift which cause the impingement since I get cracking noises every day on both sides and my left side is literally destroying me ?

  • @valeenoi2284

    So the three assessment exercises didn't pin point the issue. I have a terrible pain in that area (hip flexor and groin) today after my jog, which I had to stop because the pain was getting too much and walked back home. I get home, I sit for 20 mins, then holy shit! I couldn't literally walk to my kitchen. It was just horrible, and frankly, freaked me out since I couldn't even get to my phone if I needed to unless I was hopping on one leg. I took a Tylenol. The pain has gotten better and I can walk again. If I pull my leg into my chest, it gets better when I stand up, but the pain is still there. I'm going to try to do exercises for both hip impingement and flexor to see which one solves this.

      We tend to create a customized program for everyone we see. The program may include certain corrective exercise, stretches, and scaled version of activities they have trouble with. For example, if they can not lift a object, we teach lifting mechanics that reduce pain. But if there is no pain with lifting then we dont bother. The trouble is that many people end up spending time rehabbing locations that are not deficient in their case... it just wastes time they could be spending on the important parts of rehab. Reach out if you want to set up a consultation to see if we can take your case. Link in description for video

    I don't have pain while pushing against my lifted knee. But I feel pain after I let my leg lay back down in the groin, hip joint, and outer hip area. And after pushing on my knee, whenever I put my leg back down, I feel a pop. Would this be related to impingement since I didn't feel the pain until afterwards? I also feel a pinch pain while holding my knee up and pushing it inwards. Sometimes I randomly feel a pop whenever I put down my knee after lifting it up. Does this sound like hip impingement only, or both? I know that you can't diagnose me, so I'm just asking for your opinion. Thank you in advance.

The examinations that we did in this video are only some of the ones that we use to diagnose people. Sorry to hear that. You need to have it evaluated. You are able to see a doctor in another state. It may out of pocket expenses but if it’s that important to you it may be worth it right? If you are by us let’s take a look. We specialize in hips www.p2sportscare.com/

    Turn in Jesus Christ people he died for your sins. Repent of your sins obey his teachings and live by them. He is the only way to be saved there's only one God. God bless you all
