I like how you get straight to the point and make a detailed review for the bike. No beating around the bush with long ass intros and talking about random nonsense. Subscribed. 👌
Just bought a 2021 street glide special, all blacked out with a stage 1, with 650 miles on it for $23.9 from powder keg harley in Mason Ohio and couldn't be happier. Amazing bike!
I haven’t ridden a road glide yet. However I rode a street glide and it really doesn’t feel as big as it looks once you are on it. My heritage “feels” bigger even though I know it’s not. Those are dialed in machines. So if you are sketched out by the size it’s all in your head. If you can ride a dyna or a softail you can ride one of these.
I found a very little difference in the power between the 114 and 107 so I went with the road glide standard a year ago. I have no regrets, especially after a good stage one tune. The $6000 more that they wanted for the special was laughable but people pay it for some reason.
Look used. I just bought a 2021 RGS in Snake Venom, 5,100 miles with a 122 Stage 3 kit, Rineharts, LEDs all the way around. Runs like an absolute dream. $27000. Can't complain.
About to buy one today! I’ve done about 5k miles on the street, road and Elctra. Combined 15k. Love the Road Glide and couldn’t be more excited to finally have one in the garage.
I started riding Harley’s in 2009 when the RG was the proverbial “red headed step child”. I saw the advantages and the fairing style was unique. I was a man ahead of my time. Now the RG beats the batwings in sales volume with no end in sight. I get the last laugh 😂
I just bought a 2015 vivid black RG Standard a few weeks ago and coming from a KLR650, it's a world of difference when it comes to power. The weight difference is over 300lbs, but you only notice it when you're doing parking lot stuff. Once your moving in 2nd gear, no real noticeable difference. Coming from a cable clutch to hydraulic clutch is a little different, but not much. The throttle is the biggest difference. The RG throttle is ready to go, it's not forgiving at all compared to the KLR which only has around 40hp. You have to gently work your way into it. If you're not used to the seating position, that takes a little while to get used. On a bike like the KLR650 you're "sitting on top" of the bike. Sitting on the RG makes you feel like you're "sitting in" it. You're feet are a bit more forward versus just being straight down also. The RG is very comfortable compared to any other bike I've been on.
Only here to get my fix. I totaled my 2020 SG over a month ago and myselfnin the process. I'm in a wheelchair until June and I'll be back at it. Front tire blew out in a turn at 75mph in the highway. I put down a deposit on a 23 RG ST and I'm excited. It's all I can think about. It comes in this week. So, here to get my fix. Good info, all accurate. I rode the SG all over the country. 25k in 2 years. Thinking about it, that wasn't much... I'll beat that lol. Great video, well presented. Thank you.
Man! I went from a 2003 wide glide, to a 2008 Fatbob, to a 2018 Street glide special, to a 2020 Low rider S, and finally a 2022 Road Glide ST. The Road Glide ST is by far the best bike I’ve owned. Once Harley brought the Low Rider S styling to the touring frame, I was immediately sold. It does it all for me. Every bike I’ve owned had to get bars, and seats to fit my Ergonomics. I also had the obligatory cam, exhaust, and tuner to each of the bikes. Yet, after years of hating the shark nose fairing, I swear by Road Glides now. I can ride all day and not hate it, especially after throwing Tbars on it. The road glide is the best bike that Harley makes and there’s a reason why it’s also the best seller. Just sayin!
I have a 2020 Heritage 114, and I love it. I also love the Road Glide but I can’t trade the Heritage for the Road Glide, I love the Heritage too much, so I guess the only solution to my dilemma is to just add a Road Glide to my collection.
Love the video. I start it with a 2020 street glide special just recently traded it for a 22 road glide limited. Huge difference in my opinion. It was like going from a Honda to a Cadillac.
Picked up a 2022 blacked out RG last month. I Love your channel.Im in Queens NYC fun watching you ride around the city. Much love thank you for the journey.
7 minutes in and I haven't seen what anyone should know before buying an RG. and most of those 7 minutes was what the sales man will tell you anyway...so nothing so far, and I got bored. I can't impinge the rest of the video telling anything of interested or neccessary information
I had a 2016 FXDLS for years... Said I would never get rid of it, and never wanted a bagger... Then in October I went to my local HD and left with a 2018 Road Glide Special fully customized already. 😂 I don't regret any of it. And I mostly ride around town in the big city, not really any long trips.
Hi Have the Roadglide with stage 3 done. Ftted the SE Ohlins in the rear and Ohlins fornt along with the rest of the kit. Bike is an animal with power and handling to match. Love the content
Dope video. I just bought my first Harley a standard Road Glide. I love it. Had a chance to buy one with 131 on it but I was like nahhh let start off slow😂😂😂
I finally bought my first road glide limited 2022 coming from an 2003 heritage springer . Love love my rgl 👍🏻best bike ever just needs some suspension upgrades . ✌🏻
If you buy a Harley Davidson you really don’t need to change a thing. Just ride it and enjoy it. Beautiful looking and riding bike right off the showroom floor. All the add ons can and will make it better for everyone’s personal needs. But the truth is it’ll take you down that same highway with just as big of a smile no matter how much extra money you wanna sink into it. Ain’t no gotta haves just alot if wanna haves. Just enjoy your ride and don’t stress on it. I had a newer road glide and then bought a new Heritage because it fit me better. Couldn’t be more happy.
Disagree. It will be fine for an entry type person but for those that appreciate performance and what a hd really is then customize. #1 the engines are choked for emissions open it up minimum.
I sure do someday doesn’t have to be brand new. I’d be be on three wheels though and with an attachment on the back to bring my chair with me, my dream!
I found your channel too early 😄 you inspired me with the Low rider, waited as long as I could to avoid getting a regular low rider bc I wanted a fairing and bags... Got a LRST at the start of the year and I love it.... but the look of the roadglide is just 😍 def my next bike...
WOW The color combination on your bike is absolutely gorgeous . Love the windshield ,the upgrades you added really bring it home . Not sure if I would ever touch the engine ,seems it doesn't bring enough . I have a stock 107 with plenty of power but will be switching to a 114
I really regret selling my 2020 billiard red and white RGS! Cost 24k here in the UK at the time. The price increases in HD since then are insane!! I begrudge paying those prices now
I agree I feel it’s great bike I have 2021 Road Glide Special and I’m from Maryland I tour a lot I have been Myrtle Beach and Daytona and Knoxville and did lot of personalize
RG looks good, tasteful mods, just one thing I would change I to have the cvo rear fender take off that plate light and get a lighted flush license plate. Again bike looks great!
I much prefer the non-fixed fairing at night. On the road glide, you lose visibility on tight turns simply because the head light is pointed straight ahead until you exit the turn. Not a comfortable situation. I've owned many Harleys including a Road Glide Ultra. I'd go with an Ultra Classic, Street Glide or Road King if you tour at night as I did in the hot summer.
💯%... Heated grips 💪♥️ I have them on my "17Dyna Streetbob & highly recommend this.... Also a Fueling Vented dipstick are a must especially for the M8's❗❗❗
Just seen 2023 cvo on channelin Cali for new reveal, $55,000 in America, buy the time you give them loan money it's going to be $80,000, man they headed towards $100,000
Thx I want to buy street or road glide .... I need test ride before I buy ... thanks for info :) Thx Mike from Torque Motorcycle for Info on bikes.... very cool guy .
Test ride them both back to back like I did, I was at High Octane HD. First bike was 2019 SG standard and second was 2019 RG standard. Bought the 2020 RG standard with GTS radio short time later.
I really appreciated this video. I’m looking to get a road glide coming from a RS660 which I also like but I want more comfort. I’m 5’7 as well and was wondering how it was for our height riding it.
Great info. Quick question what seat do you have for this bike? I just purchased a 21 RGS, and am a little vertically challenged. I did get a le pera seat, but am looking for something else. Any recommendations? Again thanks for the content. Ride safe
I like all Harleys but I prefer my bat wings. I believe they perform ride a lot more protection when you ride in weather . I do a lot of road trips, a lot more protection with a batwing fairing. Road glides are open on all three sides plus the bottom fairing sits really low and far away from you. I don’t like it being fixed to the frame but that’s just my preference. But they do look really good. They’re good for day riders bike nighters stuff like that I have friends, a good friend that had a CVO road glide had to put this really big windshield on it to get any protection. So he went back to a CVO limited. That’s what I ride I need to storage I always ride two up!
The arlen ness looks like its alot les expensive then Kraus or thrashin. Their setups are like 2500 or more once you purchase all the parts necessary. Arlen Ness is alot more simplistic all one. How do you like it compared to what you had before?

Just bought a 2021 street glide special, all blacked out with a stage 1, with 650 miles on it for $23.9 from powder keg harley in Mason Ohio and couldn't be happier. Amazing bike!
Street glides are so much nicer than road glides also! congrats
That's one of the better looking road glide I've seen, red black and chrome I bet she really pops in the sun🤩🤘
Thanks sir 👍🏽
I found a very little difference in the power between the 114 and 107 so I went with the road glide standard a year ago. I have no regrets, especially after a good stage one tune. The $6000 more that they wanted for the special was laughable but people pay it for some reason.
If you felt a good stage one on the 114 you would of chose it lol. Way better especially for highways and longer riding.
Musta rode a hot 107 and a bad 114 lol or didn’t get on it
Look used. I just bought a 2021 RGS in Snake Venom, 5,100 miles with a 122 Stage 3 kit, Rineharts, LEDs all the way around. Runs like an absolute dream. $27000. Can't complain.
try a 131 crate motor, then you'll understand
I have a 2020 Roadglide with the 107 , plenty of power , got the stage 1 and about to do a 475 cam , ohhh yeeahhh 😅
About to buy one today!

2009? Try the 80’s
Got my 22 RG Special reef blue/vivid, in chrome trim, owned them all, keep coming back to the RoadGlide, Harleys best motorcycle hands down
