Maybe make a stronger one from Angle iron or square tube. Old beds were good for that, but not many around now :-( I'm sure you will find a better way, The scrap yard maybe?
The wire from the starter, did it connect to the negative lead? I’m rebuilding and mine looks different and I’m pretty sure it connects to the battery negative side. Thanks!

There is a scrap yard here locally,but as i know they don't sell,they just buy.
They don't want to deal with people,it's a big company.

Yes,there are several wires on this loom,they are connected on the battery.
