This reminds me of the Roy Clark show from the 70's & 80's! You guys are a great team together, with some great comedy and good laughs, a little friendly banter and you have a show on your hands! Made for a classic vibe to a new age of music to pass on to everyone who love you guys like me! Thanks, and make something come of this.... good luck John and Jp, and let's not forget Jeremy... he's a bonus hoot and natural comedian!
That was awesome! You guys can really put on a show. I would have paid good money just to have been a fly on the wall and witness it in person. Maybe next year 😊
33:08 - no wonder these are the choice of Tommy Emannuel - such tone!! By the way - Tommy prefers to add his own brand of 'relic' finish to the tops of his guitars. 38:36 - glad you came back for that one - it was one of my favorites... the back & bindings, too - awesome choice.
What a great way to showcase some fantastic playing on these great guitars. We can tell you’re having a blast doing this and we’re along for the ride. 😁🎶
I especially enjoyed the playing of the selected instruments. Now we need a video breakdown of the specifics of each individual instrument. Good job guys!😊
If you gave me $30,000 I'd be lost in there. So many great builders! I saw one that sounded amazing for the price. That was the Cirrus John played. Never heard of them before. Great show guys.
Is there a goose in his collection? That Peace guitar JP got looks fantastic. Couldn't quite hear how good it might sound. I thought that Maton was overbuilt, but I need to try before I but. Thanks.
19:15 - just imagine: that big dread "G" with a 12-fret neck, and an Alvarez-Yairi style split bridge placed in the center of the lower bout; and no pickguard?! More cannon-like?! Could be. Your mileage may vary - but that would be my idea of 'the ultimate custom guitar build'. :0)
40th LIKE; 240 looky-loo view... J.P. 'larger than life' - he is, in fact, quite a large fella in reality. Fans: tune into Celtic Colours Festival International - 9 days in October. It's a joy to see you two guys having more fun than a guitar-player should be allowed. Those McNallys are impressive. 15:09 - "What the heqq IS that?!" (and what's that awful background track?! - yuk.) 17:55 - agree, J.P. - now THAT's Monopoly money well-spent!
I think Collings suspended production several years ago (no doubt another COVID casualty) due to labor shortages. The lady who was head shop manger and luthier for that line now works for IRIS guitars in Vermont. I can see her influence on sone of their models.
Great enjoyment guys but there's a phasing issue with your mics which comprises it ; it's an easy fix - just use the sound from one mic at a time. Cheers, Ross
They didn't even have enough time for shopping that's why it's a day 2 video, they explain about spec on live and Play Too. Keep it subbed @@brucelevering8789 🎃🎃
Hopefully, this challenge will become an annual tradition! So much fun.
Absolutely, thanks for putting on the show!
This video playing while I worked brought joy. You guys sharing that was cool . Thanks
John and JP are amazing. JP is tremendously smooth. Thanks for always having fun.

Technically, Charles III is King of Canada, while Al Waxman remains King of Kensington. 🇨🇦
You guys really came out of your respective shells!
Oh no! Now I’d like to buy a Yamaha! Where does it end? Or does it. Masters playing the guitar, what fun.
Thank you John for putting your show entrance badge on your back! JP attitude was not to worry about scratching the guitar backs!

@@rzh3443 amazing info, thx
Y’all make all of them sound like 30 K guitars
How come I’m hearing a delay in the talking parts of this video? Or, am I having a stroke.
JPgave John Canadian dollars! Or was JP assuming the prices he was quoted were Canadian, and he was paying In US dollars?
Too bad there was no fun had in this endeavor…😋

Too much time on playing and almost zero information on specs and features of the instruments. 👎
So yes, you completely missed the point....
Always one negative Nancy 😂😂
The playing was fine. I just enjoy guitar info. That's why I subbed this channel.
